Whilst our most frequent visitors tend to arrive by feather or water 🦆🌊, human guests have rather more choice.
🚆 Limehouse station is just a few minutes away, with both DLR and c2c services from Canary Wharf, Bank and Fenchurch Street.
🚶 Canary Wharf is within easy walking distance.
🚗 Coming by car? There’s parking a short walk from the marina.
🚲 Cyclists are very welcome too: bikes can be brought inside the secure marina and left beside the boat, brought aboard…or left on top!
However you choose to arrive, getting to us is surprisingly straightforward.
The waterfowl still have the easiest journey though. 🦆
POV: You’re a spa owner and need to:
1. Fill the hot tub
2. Safety Check of the equipment
3. Test the water temperature
So naturally, you conduct the entire inspection from INSIDE the hot tub. 😬
It’s called quality control… ☝🏼😂
Forget the presents—this is what they really want for their birthday ..: 💆♀️🛥️✨
Where else can you feed birds before a spa experience, hear them splashing and calling outside while you relax, then watch them glide past afterwards?
Swans, ducks, geese, coots and moorhens: our beautiful feathered neighbours change from one day to the next, but they’re nearly always somewhere nearby.
Sometimes they come to see us. Sometimes we go out to see them.
It’s easy to forget, for a little while, that you’re in the middle of London. The city is still there, it just feels rather different from the water. 🦢🦆🌿
Still thinking about yesterday… magical ☔️🌧️🥹

🚤⚓️ A new home for the Spa Boat
We’re delighted to have secured a berth at Limehouse Marina, a beautiful spot between Canary Wharf and the City, on the edge of the Thames and surrounded by centuries of London’s maritime and canal history.
Before moving, we wondered whether being in a marina might mean less nature, less movement and a little less of the character we loved on the canal. In fact, we’ve found quite the opposite.
The water and surroundings feel cleaner and better cared for, there is plenty of wildlife, life here is quieter and more peaceful whilst the wider expanse of open water unexpectedly invites a greater feeling of the elements.
Today we welcomed our first guests aboard at Limehouse. It was also their first massage on a boat - isn’t it everyone’s? 😉
During the massage the rain could be heard pattering on the roof with the occasional sound of birds on the water nearby.
And on the way out, we spotted a couple of swans quietly paddling past the boat.
It was rather magical.
We think we’re going to be very happy here.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard Maria Alexander at Limehouse. 🌿
4 - is the magic number! 😆👯♀️👯♀️
About last night: another perfectly serene spa day … cheers 🥂😬
