Not every moment of newborn life is picture-perfect šŸ˜…

One minute everything is calm, the next you’re changing your outfit, the baby’s outfit and wondering where the muslin cloth disappeared to.

If you’re in the newborn trenches right now, you’re definitely not alone šŸ¤

I’m sharing the real side of life with a newborn, toddler chaos, school runs and everything in between.

Follow along for realistic motherhood content, newborn life, postpartum realities and mum of four adventures.

Postpartum has been a strange place to exist in.

Some days I look in the mirror and don’t quite recognise the body looking back at me. It doesn’t feel like mine in the way it once did, and learning to love it again hasn’t been a straight line.

I’m trying to stop viewing myself as something that needs ā€œfixingā€ and instead appreciate everything this body has carried me through. Six pregnancies, four babies. The version of me that got us here deserves kindness too.

For me, it’s been the little things. Stripping back the things I felt like I needed to feel pretty and asking myself whether they actually made me happy, or whether I was hiding behind them. I’ve always had eyelash extensions, but recently I’ve stepped away from them because I realised I’d convinced myself I needed them to be enough.

I don’t have all the answers. I’m still learning. But maybe loving your postpartum body doesn’t start with confidence. Maybe it starts with speaking to yourself a little more gently.

If you’re in this season too, just know you’re not alone sis. šŸ¤

Spend a realistic night with my 14-week-old… featuring toddler tantrums, bedtime negotiations and the usual middle-of-the-night feeds. šŸ¤

Some nights feel calm, some nights feel chaotic, and most are a bit of both. If you’re in the thick of this stage too, I hope this reminds you that you’re definitely not doing it alone.

My gorgeous new bedding is which is a coverless duvet! I’m in love with it šŸ¤ designed busy homes, frequent washing and everyday routines!

Spend the day with me as a mum of four šŸ¤

One minute I’m sitting at a beautiful breakfast listening to conversations around postpartum changes, all things growth, motherhood & the fourth trimester, with Honey as my little plus one… and the next I’m running through torrential rain to get home to a toddler covered in pen trying something ā€œspicyā€. šŸ˜‚

Thank you for having me & hosting such a beautiful, inspiring morning šŸ¤

Motherhood is never one thing. It’s the glamorous moments, the messy moments and everything in between.

I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Are your days ever this unpredictable?

Spend a school morning with me as a mum of four šŸ¤

No big plans, no fancy events. Just breakfast, school runs, walks with the baby and toddler, trying to squeeze in a bit of work and doing my best to keep all the little plates spinning.

These ordinary days can feel repetitive when you’re in them, but I know one day I’ll miss this version of our chaos the most.

If you’re also juggling motherhood, work and everything in between… you’re doing amazing. šŸ¤

Children’s SPF can be overwhelming when every bottle claims to be the best. ā˜€ļø

So I checked some of the most popular children’s sunscreens on the to see how they scored.

Of course, SPF choice is personal and these scores are simply intended as a helpful guide when comparing products.

āš ļø Babies under 6 months should be kept out of direct sunlight where possible and sunscreen should not be relied upon as the primary form of protection.

Have you tried any of these?

šŸ‘‡šŸ¼Let me know your favourite family SPF.

Spend a realistic night with my 13-week-old & me šŸŒ™šŸ¤

Just when I thought we might be getting into a routine, Honey reminded me who’s in charge šŸ˜…

After going down just before 7pm, I managed a bath, my skincare routine and even a little bit of self-care before bed.

I finally got into bed at 10:30pm… only for Honey to wake at 11:30pm for a feed, which is much earlier than she usually does.

Another wake-up at 3:30am followed before we started our day at 6:30am.

Not our best night, not our worst night… just a realistic one šŸ¤

If you’re currently in the newborn or baby stage, I promise you’re not alone.

Which baby lotion is best? 🧓

I compared some of the most popular baby lotions from Boots using an ingredient-scanning app and some of the results surprised me 😳

Did any surprise you? They definitely surprised me.

I saved the highest-scoring lotion until the end ā˜ļøšŸ«§šŸ§“

Before anyone asks, these aren’t my ratings — they’re the scores given by the app based on the ingredients used in each product.

As a mum of four, I find this sort of thing really interesting when choosing products for my babies, so I thought I’d share in case it helps another parent too šŸ¤

Our little bedtime routine šŸ¤

At 3 months old, we’ve finally found a routine that works for us (most nights anyway šŸ˜‚).

Bath, fresh pyjamas, a bottle and all the sleepy cuddles before bed.

One thing I’ve learned as a fourth-time mum is that babies don’t read the rule book. What works one week might not work the next, but right now this is our little evening routine and I love it.

If you’re here for realistic motherhood, newborn life and life as a mum of four, you’re in the right place ✨

What’s one thing that’s part of your baby’s bedtime routine?

It’s only 9am… send help šŸ˜‚

The noise, someone’s hungry, someone’s crying, someone’s lost a shoe and I’ve probably reheated the same coffee three times already.

Wouldn’t change it for the world though šŸ¤
