Postpartum has been a strange place to exist in.
Some days I look in the mirror and donāt quite recognise the body looking back at me. It doesnāt feel like mine in the way it once did, and learning to love it again hasnāt been a straight line.
Iām trying to stop viewing myself as something that needs āfixingā and instead appreciate everything this body has carried me through. Six pregnancies, four babies. The version of me that got us here deserves kindness too.
For me, itās been the little things. Stripping back the things I felt like I needed to feel pretty and asking myself whether they actually made me happy, or whether I was hiding behind them. Iāve always had eyelash extensions, but recently Iāve stepped away from them because I realised Iād convinced myself I needed them to be enough.
I donāt have all the answers. Iām still learning. But maybe loving your postpartum body doesnāt start with confidence. Maybe it starts with speaking to yourself a little more gently.
If youāre in this season too, just know youāre not alone sis. š¤
Spend a realistic night with my 14-week-old⦠featuring toddler tantrums, bedtime negotiations and the usual middle-of-the-night feeds. š¤
Some nights feel calm, some nights feel chaotic, and most are a bit of both. If youāre in the thick of this stage too, I hope this reminds you that youāre definitely not doing it alone.

My gorgeous new bedding is which is a coverless duvet! Iām in love with it š¤ designed busy homes, frequent washing and everyday routines!

Spend the day with me as a mum of four š¤
One minute Iām sitting at a beautiful breakfast listening to conversations around postpartum changes, all things growth, motherhood & the fourth trimester, with Honey as my little plus one⦠and the next Iām running through torrential rain to get home to a toddler covered in pen trying something āspicyā. š
Thank you for having me & hosting such a beautiful, inspiring morning š¤
The incredible panel listening to .asare .drwedad
Motherhood is never one thing. Itās the glamorous moments, the messy moments and everything in between.
I wouldnāt have it any other way!
Are your days ever this unpredictable?
Spend a school morning with me as a mum of four š¤
No big plans, no fancy events. Just breakfast, school runs, walks with the baby and toddler, trying to squeeze in a bit of work and doing my best to keep all the little plates spinning.
These ordinary days can feel repetitive when youāre in them, but I know one day Iāll miss this version of our chaos the most.
If youāre also juggling motherhood, work and everything in between⦠youāre doing amazing. š¤

Childrenās SPF can be overwhelming when every bottle claims to be the best. āļø
So I checked some of the most popular childrenās sunscreens on the to see how they scored.
Of course, SPF choice is personal and these scores are simply intended as a helpful guide when comparing products.
ā ļø Babies under 6 months should be kept out of direct sunlight where possible and sunscreen should not be relied upon as the primary form of protection.
Have you tried any of these?
šš¼Let me know your favourite family SPF.

Just when I thought we might be getting into a routine, Honey reminded me whoās in charge š
After going down just before 7pm, I managed a bath, my skincare routine and even a little bit of self-care before bed.
I finally got into bed at 10:30pm⦠only for Honey to wake at 11:30pm for a feed, which is much earlier than she usually does.
Another wake-up at 3:30am followed before we started our day at 6:30am.
Not our best night, not our worst night⦠just a realistic one š¤
If youāre currently in the newborn or baby stage, I promise youāre not alone.

Which baby lotion is best? š§“
I compared some of the most popular baby lotions from Boots using an ingredient-scanning app and some of the results surprised me š³
Did any surprise you? They definitely surprised me.
I saved the highest-scoring lotion until the end āļøš«§š§“
Before anyone asks, these arenāt my ratings ā theyāre the scores given by the app based on the ingredients used in each product.
As a mum of four, I find this sort of thing really interesting when choosing products for my babies, so I thought Iād share in case it helps another parent too š¤

Our little bedtime routine š¤
At 3 months old, weāve finally found a routine that works for us (most nights anyway š).
Bath, fresh pyjamas, a bottle and all the sleepy cuddles before bed.
One thing Iāve learned as a fourth-time mum is that babies donāt read the rule book. What works one week might not work the next, but right now this is our little evening routine and I love it.
If youāre here for realistic motherhood, newborn life and life as a mum of four, youāre in the right place āØ
Whatās one thing thatās part of your babyās bedtime routine?
ām
Itās only 9am⦠send help š
The noise, someoneās hungry, someoneās crying, someoneās lost a shoe and Iāve probably reheated the same coffee three times already.
Wouldnāt change it for the world though š¤
