What a weekend! 🥂✨ So many laughs, questionable decisions, aching feet, far too many photos and memories that will definitely be talked about in the salon for a LONG time. 😂

There’s something special about getting away from work, letting our hair down (quite literally 💇🏼‍♀️😂) and just enjoying each other’s company. 💕

Today we’re celebrating a very special lady. Our amazing salon owner, boss, friend and basically mother to us all! 😂❤️

What an incredible achievement to be turning 50 AND to have built such a wonderful salon and little family since opening the doors in 2019. Through everything including a global pandemic not long after opening! 😅 Mel has kept us going, kept us laughing and, most importantly, kept some of us in line! 👀😂

She’s the heart of the salon, always there for everyone, and somehow manages to be an incredible boss while still making every day fun.

We’re so lucky to have you, Mel, and we hope you have the most amazing 50th birthday you deserve to be thoroughly spoiled! 🥂🎂✨

💜💙 PURPLE RAIN… with a pop of electric blue! 💙💜 Hair by Ben

What a transformation! 😍 We went all in on vivid colour, creating this rich, jewel-toned purple with flashes of electric blue underneath for that gorgeous contrast and dimension.

✨ The colour breakdown:

Lightened using Neal & Wolf Illumination Cream Bleach, then transformed with Colour Reboost Plus Purple & Blue for that intense, glossy finish.

For the blow dry I used my Neal & Wolf favourites: Hydrate, Miracle Rapid Blow-Dry Mist & Velvet Hair Oil for softness, shine and that silky finish. ✨

I am OBSESSED with how the blue peeks through the purple when the hair moves. 💙💜 Who says blondes have more fun?!
