Gloves ON vs. gloves OFF…

I always wear gloves for treatments like microneedling, where that extra level of protection is essential.

But for facials… I actually choose not to.

Don’t get me wrong, hygiene is never optional. My hands are thoroughly washed and sanitised before every treatment, and everything that touches your skin is clean and professional.

But there really is something about human touch. I can feel your skin better, work more intuitively, and honestly… it just feels nicer. Facials should feel more nurturing, not so clinical.

Every treatment is different, and every decision I make is based on what’s safest, what’s most appropriate, and what gives you the best experience.

The gloves aren’t what make a treatment hygienic, it’s the standards behind them.

Naturally, I get asked this all the time… “How often should I have microneedling?”

My answer is always the same. If you really want to see the best results, I recommend a course of 6 treatments, every 4 weeks.

I know it can be tempting to just have one session and hope for the best, but microneedling is all about building collagen over time. Your skin needs those regular treatments to keep stimulating collagen production, and that’s when you start to see those gorgeous, long lasting results.

Once you’ve completed your course, we’ll have another look at your skin together and see how everything is looking. If we’ve achieved the goals we set, that’s amazing. If there’s still more we’d like to work on, we’ll chat through the next steps and create a plan that’s right for you.

No two skins are the same, which is why every treatment plan is personalised. My goal is always to get you the very best results, not just get you booked in.

This is just to say a huge thank you to all of you who have decided to trust me with your skin journey. I can’t wait to be with you all next month!!

After this, and I can’t believe I’m saying this so soon, I will have to implement a waiting list, until another day becomes available in the month.

How’s everyone enjoying the sun?? 🌞

With it being so hot, I’m going to be adding the option of cryo-cooling to all my treatments. (Free, of course)

The cryo hammer has amazing benefits, like locking in all the products that have been used and sealing them into the skin & boosting circulation.

But it’s also -2 degrees, which feels so, SO refreshing.

If you need a cool down after your treatment, just ask for the cryo hammer 🥶
