SHXDYSKIN
Welcome to Shxdy Skin
You will leave with core skin knowledge and your face feeling lifted. It’s not a facial, it’s SHXDYSKIN.
Me hearing both sides of the story during their appointment… but I’m only the client that pays. 😂

Male clients really do tell you EVERYTHING during a treatment 😂 From work drama to relationships, family, dating and life updates apparently a facial appointment is also a therapy session.
But jokes aside, I love creating a space where clients can completely switch off, relax and feel comfortable while I take care of their skin.

Your social media is your business’s first impression and yes, people are judging it.
If you’re a beauty professional, your content should reflect the standard of the work you provide.
Your skin, your presentation, your treatment results and the way you show up online all contribute to how potential clients perceive your brand.
You don’t need to look perfect. You need to look professional, confident and aligned with the experience you’re selling.
Because before they book the treatment, they’re buying into YOU.

This is why every client isn’t your type of client.
Sometimes people want the end result, but they don’t want to listen to what it actually takes to get there.
If I recommend professional skin treatments, specific skincare, home care and lifestyle changes, but you don’t follow the advice, I can’t guarantee the results you’re looking for.
As a skin professional, my job isn’t just to give you a treatment. It’s to assess your skin, create a plan and tell you what you genuinely need.
And sometimes, the most professional thing you can do is decline a client when you know they aren’t willing to follow the process.
I’m not here to sell you a treatment. I’m here to help you get results.

Why I no longer offer single treatments…
As my approach to skin and beauty has evolved, I’ve realised that one treatment here and there isn’t always the best way to achieve long term results.
I now focus on understanding the client, their goals and what their skin actually needs before recommending a treatment plan.
It’s not about selling more treatments. It’s about creating a strategy that makes sense for your skin, your lifestyle and your goals.
Beauty treatments should be more than a quick fix. They should have a purpose.

My monthly microneedling treatment because skincare isn’t just about fixing problems once they appear it’s about consistency, maintenance and looking after your skin long term.
At 28, my main focus is maintaining my skin, especially around my mouth, cheeks, cheekbones, neck, chest and hairline.
And yes… I always take my treatment into my hairline. If you have Afro or textured hair, you already know how easily hair products can end up around your face!
Microneedling is one of the treatments I use as part of my professional skin routine, alongside proper cleansing and consistent home care.
If you’re considering microneedling, always make sure you’re having it performed safely and appropriately for your skin.

Did you know your ears can be one of the places where signs of ageing become more noticeable?
As we age, the skin around the ears can lose elasticity, firmness and volume.
Sun exposure, collagen loss and natural ageing can all contribute to changes in the appearance of the ears and surrounding skin.
It’s an area that often gets overlooked when we talk about skincare and antiageing, but your ears deserve attention too.
Skincare isn’t just about your face. Your neck, chest and ears are all part of your skin health routine.
