Microneedling results, without a single needle going near your face โœจ๏ธ

I know how many of you have wanted to try microneedling and stopped at the thought of the needles or the few days of looking like you have caught the sun.

Bio Spicule Therapy gets you to a similar place using tiny mineral spicules from freshwater sponges, which sounds a bit far-fetched until you feel what it does to the skin. No needles, no acids, no downtime, and you can walk straight back into your day.

Swipe for how it works and who it suits best ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ

We will talk all day about retinol, double cleansing, our SPF and whether that new serum is actually worth the money. Ask the same room of women what a healthy v***a looks like and it goes very quiet.

Your v***a is skin and tissue like everywhere else on your body, and it changes through hormones, birth and menopause. Most of us were never shown what normal looks like, what to keep half an eye on, or how much this area affects how comfortable and well we feel day to day.

Dryness, itching, changes in sensation, discomfort during s*x, that heavy dragging feeling after having babies. So many women assume this is just their lot from now on. It really isnโ€™t. These are things we can assess, understand and treat.

If we can build a five-step skincare routine and debate the merits of every acid under the sun, we can learn to look after this part of us too. It deserves the same attention, and your comfort deserves more than putting up with it ๐Ÿค

How to keep lip filler looking natural and undetectable, like this beautiful result above ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘„

โœจ๏ธ Choosing the right product: with so many fillers on the market, it's important to select the right HA filler based on its properties, from firmness to how well it holds water and integrates, while taking into account the quality of the lip tissue, the existing anatomy and the overall goal, whether that's structure, shape or hydration.

โœจ๏ธ Injection technique and product depth: placement is everything in the lips. Product placed too deep can push the lip forward and outward, while product placed too superficially often creates the little lumps and bumps you can see at a glance. Getting the depth right is what keeps the result smooth and natural.

โœจ๏ธ Amount of product: more is rarely better here. We should very rarely be placing a full millilitre in the lips, especially in a first session. Expanding the tissue too quickly with too much product overwhelms it, and the filler ends up following the path of least resistance, spreading up and over the lip border and creating that overfilled look nobody wants.

If you've been curious about lip filler but aren't sure how it would look on you, come and see me in clinic and we'll chat through the right options for you ๐Ÿ”—

Not everyone who walks into my clinic wants injectables, and the good news is, there are other options.

Some people are needle-phobic. Some want to improve their skin without touching anything that changes the face. And plenty simply want to look fresher for something coming up, without disappearing for a week to recover.

There is a lot I can do in that space, and these three treatments are where I usually start ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ

If fresher, clearer skin is what youโ€™re after and you are not sure where to start, come and have a proper conversation about which one is right for your skin.

We were never taught to look at our own v***a, never mind know what a healthy one should look like.

So when things start to change - dryness, discomfort, leaking when you sneeze, s*x that has become something you avoid rather than enjoy - most women assume it is just what happens now. Something to put up with. Something you certainly don't bring up at a smear test, let alone with friends.

I have these conversations every single week in clinic, and almost every woman opens with an apology for mentioning it.

This is what I wish more women knew, and if any of it sounds familiar, come and talk to meโ€ฆ no awkwardness required โœจ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ

Perimenopausal skin does not respond to what worked in your thirties, and most women find that out the hard way.

The products stop performing, the texture shifts, pigmentation turns up where there was none - and the usual advice about drinking more water does very little, because the change is happening in the dermis, not on the surface.

So I have set out exactly how I would approach it if you were sitting in front of me ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ

Have a read through, and if it sounds like your skin, come and talk to me in clinic and Iโ€™ll help you understand whatโ€™s truly right for you. Book via the link in my bio or DM me READY ๐Ÿ’Œ

Every single one of these has been said to me in clinic.

Women arrive convinced this is just what happens after children, after chemo, after forty. Something to manage around, buy liners for, and never mention again.

It is not. As oestrogen falls, the vaginal and v***al tissues thin, lose collagen and lose elasticity, and the connective tissue supporting the urethra weakens along with them. That is why the dryness, the discomfort during s*x and the leaking so often turn up together. It is structural, and structure can be rebuilt.

Radiofrequency restores tone and thickness. PRP and PRF use your own blood to drive regeneration. Polynucleotides repair the tissue at a cellular level and bring back hydration and elasticity. Pelvic floor work helps too, but it strengthens muscle rather than tissue that has atrophied, which is why the two together do far more than either alone.

That is what my Fem Glo plan is built around, and the women who go through it consistently tell me they wish they had come years earlier ๐Ÿฉท
