Expectations were exceeded in every single way, China. I love you! I will always remember this trip, the people we met and the love and warmth we were shown from colleagues turned friends. Our hearts, souls, minds are full to the brim 🥹 we have learnt SO much about ourselves, our suppliers, our products and new lines we plan to bring to the market. I’m blown away truly! The magic truly does happen the minute you decide to step out of your comfort zone.
Something I have to mention is how many incredible, POWERFUL women we were lucky to meet. The girls really know what’s up in China 🇨🇳 and I love that. It’s a place built on partnership and wanting the best for those you work with - so I really felt like we were seen by our factories and truly know there’s nowhere else for us than working with people who see us and understand our values. Innovation is second nature and the teams there are committed to always bringing new and exciting ways of doing things to the table so we were in our element ❤️
I wish I had the words 🥺 but I know one girly who understands and that is - you blew me away on this trip and I miss you already. I am beyond lucky to know you and I’m so honoured that I and s&s are a part of your story! And of course who despite her protesting ‘well of course’ when I thank her for trusting us - needs to know how grateful I am to work in partnership with her. You inspire our whole team on the daily with your strength and leadership and we love you ❤️ thank you and for holding down the fort!
Our team has all felt an energy shift this week and we’re leaning into our new era which we know will be bigger and better 🥲 sometimes I can’t believe I get to call this work and put it down to sheer luck but I think what I’ve learned is our team really do sit somewhere between discipline and delusion and we just, keep, moving ❤️

Above all, nobody sees the hours, the testing, the back and forth, the patience. This wax has been in development for so long… and it’s taken all of us. A team who genuinely believes in doing things differently. A team building something better for this industry, one product at a time. 🤍✨

Our Pinterest board vision came to life and now our office is my favourite place to be 🥺🤍✨ I’m finding it hard at the moment still living in rented and waiting for our house to sell, missing The Lakes the most at this time of year - but being able to go to work with my fave girlies really does make it all worth it!

As Oct comes to a close I’m reflecting on what’s been the most gorgeous month. Truly showing up for myself and my business this month and reaping those rewards ❤️✨

Oscar performed at our event on Sunday and had everyone in disbelief that I even had a son 😂 He’s turning 17 soon the same age I was when I had him. We’ve grown up together, through every version of me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🤍

I feel like I’m dreaming ✨

October 2023 marked the start of a long awaiting change for our industry with the launch of Second Skin. A product that we truly cannot remember what we did without and one that would turn out to be just the beginning of our journey into safer waxing.

We quickly realised in house that a great barrier is only as good as a great wax. At our core as a brand is a desire to continually innovate and lead our industry, if we are able to improve something then best believe - we’re adding it to our very long list of product ideas 😂🤍 so soon after the launch of Second Skin, we got to work!

Danielle and I are so incredibly proud of the latest additions to our range and what feels for us a big step into the professional product.

Calm moments in a week of chaos 💭✨ my clients know, if there was ever a product I n e e d e d to create, it was an eyebrow gel. This new and updated version of heavenly hold is honestly so beautiful, it gives a medium hold, feathery finish that truly lasts all day. Easier than ever to remove with of course, no crispy/white finish. This version is so easy to build and truly does not impact your other make up, including foundation which we all know can be a pain. I feel like launch truly is just the beginning of her story, she’s going to be a household name ✨

Ireland really was so special for us, moments that will forever stay in my core memory box. Our first flight as a team, the first of many trips to Ireland, meeting our Irish community and learning more about how we can support them, the first time we talked about the beginnings of saint&serenity on stage, from being brow techs to brand owners - the whole experience has just left me feeling so grateful to be on this wild ride with the best team and customer base I could dream of 🤍🥹 truly grateful ✨ the question is….where to next!?
