As it was a few days before her special day we prepped her skin with a healing Amiko peel.

Do you suffer with an irritated scalp and you are suffering even more in this heat?.
This week we had a new client who has folliculitis on his scalp.
This condition involves the inflammation or infection of the hair follicles. It appears as small, red, pimple like bumps or white headed pustules around hairs and can cause itching, tenderness, or soreness.
He had difficulty over the course of many weeks trying to get an appointment with his Dr, so he contacted our clinic to help.
After a consultation he was prescribed a treatment combining an antibiotic gel with zinc to speed up the healing process.
Scalp issues can get aggravated with the heat we are experiencing at the moment.
Staphylococcus aureus bacteria causes folliculitis. It may also be caused by viruses, fungi, parasites, medications or exercising, wearing hats, using certain styling products/shampoos and even a trip to have your hair cut, can make folliculitis worse.
