As my birthday month comes to an end, I’m grateful to have shared a little of my journey with you.

I’d like to end this chapter by sharing my feature in the Manchester Evening News on the 13/07/26, It represents more than a newspaper article—it reflects decades of dedication, serving my community, supporting people through hair loss, training apprentices, and doing the work I love.

Success does not happen overnight.

Patience moves mountains.

Today, I simply want to thank God for His faithfulness, grace and countless blessings throughout my journey.

Thank you to my family, friends, clients and everyone who has supported me over the years. Your love and encouragement have meant more than words can express.

As I begin another year, I look forward with faith, gratitude and purpose.

Giving back 🙏🙏❤️

For me, hairdressing has never been just about hair.

Out of my busy salon life, I always make time to volunteer at a homeless shelter, once a month alongside other amazing volunteers providing haircuts and grooming for people who need it most.

A haircut can’t solve every problem, but it can restore confidence, dignity and remind someone that they matter.

This is why I do what I do.

As I celebrate another birthday week, I’m grateful that all these years in this profession, I can still use my skills to make a difference—one person at a time.

My philosophy has always been simple: Patience moves mountains.

✨ Community has always been at the heart of my journey.

As I reflect during my birthday week, I’ve been looking back at some special moments that remind me how blessed I’ve been throughout my journey.

One of those moments was celebrating with local leaders who took the time to recognise my work in the community. Their encouragement meant a great deal, but what means even more is knowing that, through my salon, I’ve been able to support people, mentor young talent and give something back over the years.

I’ve always believed that success is about more than building a business—it’s about making a positive difference wherever you can.
