Every time I think I’ve learnt enough, I discover there’s so much more to understand. From the skin barrier and collagen production to inflammation, wound healing and how active ingredients actually work within the skin it’s honestly incredible.

I never want to be someone who just follows trends. I want to understand why a treatment works, why an ingredient is effective, and why one person’s skin responds differently to another’s.

That’s why I keep investing in my education, reading the research, asking questions, and learning from experts. My clients deserve more than treatments—they deserve someone who truly understands the skin they’re trusting me with.

What most people don’t see is what it takes to build a startup from nothing.

The countless late nights researching ingredients, studying skin science, speaking with formulation experts, and working closely with the laboratory to source the very best ingredients possible. Every ingredient in Sphagnum De-Lux has been carefully considered because I never wanted to create just another skincare brand I wanted to create something truly special.

What people don’t see are the evenings spent packing products on the floor surrounded by boxes, labels, and packaging. The sacrifices, the risks, the setbacks, and the moments where giving up would have been easier.

Getting ready for an event with the help of my mum, my daughter, and my niece. No big team. No huge warehouse. Just family, hard work, faith, and a shared belief in a dream.

Building Sphagnum De-Lux has been a journey fuelled by passion, purpose, and perseverance. From spending years learning about skin health to working with scientists and laboratories to develop high-quality formulations, every step has been driven by a desire to help people feel confident in their skin.

Startups aren’t built overnight. They’re built through consistency, resilience, long nights, early mornings, and an unwavering belief in the vision.
