The last 24 hours have been difficult to process. Bearing witness to a life lived for 9 years to end before our eyes has had us all reflecting- what more can we do to make life better for those who are in hardship?
Our mission has had to continue and our food distributions for Yemen continue- to support families for Ramadan and ensure that children are nourished alongside their families.
Donate at Launchgood.com/YemenSupport and provide food as a basic minimum. Extend your table by providing iftar for those without food.
May Allah swt bless you. Please keep me and my team in your duas.

Earlier today, we witnessed something my team and I will never forget.
Just minutes after arriving at our Kidney Dialysis Centre in Aden, a 9 year old boy called Mansoor went into respiratory arrest. He was the first patient I saw as I walked in sitting near the door, surrounded by other patients, being dialysed- a treatment that has been keeping children like him alive. Until today, when his body gave up.
Despite every effort to save him, Mansoor passed away. As he was being resuscitated, the athan for Dhur was heard. He passed before it finished.💔
He died on a ward without curtains or separation, other children watched. Patients watched. His father and brother arrived grieving. It was a moment that carried the full weight of how fragile life is in places where healthcare resources are limited.
Mansoor had so many challenges even before he got to the centre. His little body had endured severe illness and malnutrition from birth. He'd had a colostomy bag since birth. So many health issues for such a young soul. His passing was Allah's Mercy as an end to the suffering for Mansoor and the family who lived through his pain daily.
The team needed debriefing after; as it was heartbreaking to witness this all so unexpectedly. It's been such a heavy day.
It made our resolve to strengthen the centre's services, provide more funding for other dialysis patients and to provide some sort of sadaqa jaaria for Mansoor and his family to honour his memory.
I ask you to remember this precious soul and his grieving family in your duas today

Salaams and good evening!
I'm sharing my memory of the day...leading an 'uber camel' 😅 to deliver food in rural Yemen to families for Ramadan. Can't say I've ever done that before!
Today has been a full day in the field. This morning we distributed food parcels to hundreds of families. We then visited a rural school that your support helped build, before sitting with sisters from the community to listen to what they truly need.
The link to donate at is Launchgood.com/YemenSupport
This evening we gave hearing aids to children hearing for the first time so it's safe to say we’re a blubbering mess, but going to sleep with full hearts.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. There is so much more to share. Please keep supporting and sharing the journey.
Salaams and good evening! I just wanted to let you know some amazing news. Yesterday- I appealed for two orphans for sponsorship. YOU responded by sponsoring 27 in less than 24 hours alhamdulillah! May Allah swt bless all who have donated and made a real dent in the Yemen orphan waiting list.
This evening we broke our fast with 50 orphan household families. You can see some of it on my stories later. MADE.MY.YEAR!
Many more are waiting....keep going! The link to support orphans is Launchgood.com/YemenSupport.
As we are on a roll for sadqa jaaria work... I'm sharing our water well update as well. Many areas of Yemen are without safe water- CHANGE the world for women and girls who walk for miles to collect this basic necessity you and I take for granted.* Donate at the link above- Many projects are available there. I'll keep sharing and updating with more opportunities for you to make a massive difference for those who are praying for support from the ghaib this Ramadan.
Salaams and good evening everyone! I pray Ramadan is going well for you.
We're on a mission to sponsor as many orphans in Yemen as possible this Ramadan; over 550 are on a list waiting for your support.
We'll be sharing 2 profiles a night in sha Allah. For safeguarding purposes and to protect the dignity of the child the profiles will be sent as caricatures of the children. The sponsor supporting each child will be sent the full profile, details of the child, including a picture.
Click the orphan sponsorship link at; Launchgood.com/YemenSupport AND whatsapp your name and email address to 07940568586 so we can allocate the correct child to you. Get in touch if you would like to pay monthly Direct Debit.
It costs £420 a year to sponsor a child. That's just over £1 a day to cover a child's food, education and healthcare needs.
Don't miss out on the immense reward of sponsoring an orphan this Ramadan- sending the first two profiles with this message
May Allah swt bless and protect you for placing your hand over the head of our beautiful children of Yemen
Alhamdulillah we reached the FIRST blessed Jummah of Ramadan! Just over a week left until I deploy for four relief missions to serve our brothers and sisters in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Jordan.
I'm sharing sister Wissal's story. She escaped from Sudan only to lose her husband in Jordan and live in dire poverty. To sponsor a family like Wissal's costs £1800 per year or £150 a month and we have cases like this in all countries we are working in. Please consider donating your zakat for this family and others- help us reach even more;

If you want to donate cash- our team can pick up and give you a receipt- get in touch by whatsapp on 07940 568 586 and I will arrange for our AFH HQ staff to pick up from Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester or London.
Please remember those we serve and support for ease from their hardships, and also pray for our teams around the world working tirelessly, my family and me in your Saat Ul Istijaabah prayers before Maghrib today.
Alhamdulillah, our first day in Yemen has been powerful and humbling.
Today the team distributed 128 food parcels and hygiene kits in communities affected by a cholera outbreak, reaching families in very rural villages where support rarely reaches and where other charities often can't go.
If you'd like to stand with these families and reach those most in need, you can donate here: launchgood.com/YemenSupport (link in bio)
This is just one of hundreds of distributions taking place worldwide as part of Action for Humanity’s Ramadan response. The team is fasting, working, travelling and listening to families carrying immense hardship; we are doing our bit, please do yours and give as much as you can.

Alhamdulillah....Food parcels reaching hundreds of people in rural Yemen on the first or second day of Ramadan depending on when you started! Your Zakat is changing lives. JazakAllahu khairun for your support always. Reach more at Launchgood.com/YemenSupport
The UK team visited Sister Nadia in rural Jordan.
She lives with her husband who is a patient and unwell and their three young daughters in what looks more like a parking garage than a home.
There are holes in the ceiling, gaps in the floor, cracks running through the walls. When it rains, water leaks through. When it’s cold, the wind blasts in. This is where three little girls are growing up.
Please support this family on
launchgood.com/jordanmission
The family is sinking under rising debt for rent, food and medical bills for her husband. No access to public funds. No safety net. Just mounting pressure and quiet endurance.
Ramadan is for families like this. This is what zakat was created for, to relieve debt, restore dignity and protect children from hardship they did not choose.
Please use this Ramadan as your opportunity to change the world for at least one family. Reference "Nadia Jordan" in the comments box to support.

34 years of marriage yesterday, Alhamdulillah.❤️ Some people book dinner reservations. Some people have a quiet night in. Some people celebrate on holiday.
We book field missions.😅🤣
In fact, in order to spend our anniversary together this year, I booked my husband onto a humanitarian deployment… (he still had to fundraise and hit his own target!). No special exemptions. Equality. Justice. Accountability.
Romance looks different after 34 years.
But honestly, there is nowhere else I would rather be. Standing in the deserts of Jordan, doing work that matters, alongside one of my most favourite people in the world.
Someone who has walked beside me through every version of life. The uncertain beginnings, the building years, the exhausting years, the joyful years, the years where we had no idea what we were doing, and now these years of purpose where, apparently, this is what anniversary planning looks like.
As has now become an annual tradition, I’m sharing 34 wisdoms from 34 years of marriage. Some profound. Some hard-earned. Some acquired purely through survival!
1) Love is built daily. It does not maintain itself. Like the house. Or the car. Or the WiFi!
2) Patience is not optional. It is the entire operating system.
3) Saying sorry first saves time. Even when you are only 3% wrong.
4) Silence can be peaceful. Or strategic. Learn the difference!
5) Lucozade solves most disagreements. Also headaches. Also emotional trauma. Asian mums were right.
6) You grow together, or you grow apart. Choose together. Repeatedly.
7) Loyalty is quiet. It does not announce itself. It just stays.
8) Hard times reveal true character. Especially at airports, in traffic, and when assembling IKEA furniture.
9) Respect must remain. Even during intense discussions about directions when he refused to use Google Maps.
10) Small kindnesses matter most. Tea. Checking in. Sharing the last samosa.
11) Life will test you. Repeatedly. Sometimes on the same day.
12) You will survive it together. Even when you think you will not.
13) You learn when to speak. And when to absolutely not speak.
(Continued in comments- because I'm not technical enough to do it any other way 🤣)
Alhamdulillah, today we met 40 Sudanese refugee families, many forced to flee El Fasher, Darfur, and other cities overrun by militias, leaving behind everything familiar to survive.
We went thinking we were there to support them with zakat. *But we came away with far more. Many are carrying deep trauma and loss. Sometimes, just being heard, sharing their story, and knowing someone sees their pain is the first step towards healing. Reach families on this blessed first eve of Ramadan at Launchgood.com/JordanMission
Today was about solidarity as much as support. About reminding them they are not forgotten.
Please continue supporting the Sudanese refugee community. InshaAllah, watch this space as we expand this work into longer term livelihood and recovery support, so families can begin to rebuild their lives with dignity.

My heart is full today alhamdulillah. We've cried, we've laughed, we've been present and we've debriefed.
Our team arrived in Jordan in the early hours of this morning. After just a few hours of sleep, we hit the ground running.
Our first stop was to deliver zakat to 40 families from Gaza who came to Jordan for medical treatment before October 7th and have been stranded here ever since. Families who expected to return home within weeks, but whose entire lives have been placed on hold. You can reach them and more on; launchgood.com/JordanMission
We then travelled further out of Amman to the Gaza Camp in Jerash, where families are living in severe poverty and uncertainty. We sat with them, listened to their stories, and delivered your zakat into their hands. For many, it is not just financial relief, but a reminder that they have not been forgotten.
We have already identified several urgent cases that need additional support, including families facing debt and struggling to pay rent. I will be sharing these with you in the coming days, inshaAllah.
For now, please donate and be part of this mission. Your zakat is reaching those who need it most, directly, with dignity.
