🌿 Be like a tree.

Keep growing, even when life feels heavy and no one can see what’s happening beneath the surface.

The quiet work you do in the dark seasons matters.
It’s where your roots deepen, your strength grows, and you become more of who you’re meant to be.

Trust the process.
Not everything beautiful blooms straight away.

One day, you’ll look back and realise the seasons that felt the hardest were growing something beautiful in you. 🤍

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared anything about Microneedling, so I thought it was about time! ✨

My lovely client kindly let me take a little post-treatment photo too something I always forget to do! !

Microneedling is a great treatment for giving your skin a little helping hand. It works by creating tiny controlled micro-channels in the skin, encouraging the natural renewal process and stimulating collagen and elastin production.

It can help with:

✨ Fine lines & wrinkles
✨ Skin firmness & elasticity
✨ Uneven texture
✨ The appearance of pores
✨ Dull, tired-looking skin
✨ Overall skin rejuvenation

And, of course… that glow! ✨

This photo was taken straight after treatment, so you can see the lovely natural flush that comes with Microneedling. As the skin settles and the renewal process continues, the aim is smoother, fresher, firmer and more radiant-looking skin.

If you’ve been thinking about trying Microneedling or simply want to give your skin a little boost, send me a message and we can chat about whether it’s right for you.

Did you know…

I’m registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)?

It’s something I’m really proud of. Being part of a professional body that supports standards, ongoing development and good practice is important to me, and it’s another little part of running Harmora that matters.

But here’s something you might not know…

If you have health insurance through your workplace, you may be able to claim back some of the cost of your treatment. 💆‍♀️

Some workplace policies include complementary therapies, but it depends on your employer, your insurer and the treatment you’re having.

So, if you’ve got health insurance through work, it’s worth checking what you’re covered for. You might be pleasantly surprised.

You can ask your HR department or insurance provider:

“Does my health insurance cover complementary therapies, and can I claim for treatment with an FHT-registered therapist?”

And if you’re unsure, I’m happy to provide a receipt for your treatment so you can check with your insurer.

Just another little thing worth knowing when you’re making time for yourself. 🤍

✨ NEW — DERMAPLANING FACIAL ✨

I’m so excited to now be offering Dermaplaning Facials from my little garden studio. 🤍

Having recently completed my training, I’m delighted to add this beautiful treatment to my facial menu, I absolutely love the fresh, smooth finish it gives the skin.

I’d love for some of my lovely existing clients to be among the first to experience it. 🫶🏻

Dermaplaning gently removes the build-up of dead skin cells and fine facial hair, helping to reveal beautifully smooth, soft and fresh-looking skin underneath.

Your 60-minute facial combines professional dermaplaning with nourishing skincare and plenty of time to relax, because I believe a facial should be about more than just your skin. It’s also about giving yourself an hour to pause, breathe and switch off. 🫧

✨ Smooth, soft and fresh-feeling skin
✨ Gently removes surface dead skin cells
✨ Removes fine facial hair
✨ Helps leave the complexion looking brighter and more radiant
✨ Creates a smooth canvas for makeup
✨ Perfect as a little pre-event skin refresh

📩 If you’d like to be one of the first to experience my new treatment, just send me a message. I’m also happy to answer any questions and let you know if dermaplaning is suitable for your skin.

A little time for your skin. A little time for you. 🫶🏻

What does a Reiki experience actually feel like?

This is something I’m often asked, and the honest answer is… there isn’t one answer.

Reiki is a very personal experience.

From my perspective as a therapist, I don’t see Reiki as something you have to believe in. I see it as an opportunity to slow down, become still and turn your awareness inward.

We spend so much of our lives living in our heads, thinking, planning, worrying, anticipating and trying to control what comes next.

Reiki offers you a chance to step away from all of that for a while.

As you become quieter, you may become more aware of your breath, your body, your emotions and the sensations within you. Some people experience warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness or a feeling of deep relaxation. Others simply feel peaceful or still.

And sometimes, people describe something that is harder to put into words.

A sense of connection.

For me, this is where the idea of energy and frequency comes into the experience.

Whether you understand that through spirituality, energy, meditation or simply as your nervous system finally being given permission to slow down, the experience can feel incredibly profound.

You don’t need to empty your mind.

You don’t need to know how to meditate.

You don’t need to have any particular beliefs.

You simply arrive, breathe, and allow yourself to be present.

And perhaps, when we become quiet enough, we reconnect with a part of ourselves that gets lost beneath the noise of everyday life.

That peaceful observer.

That stillness.

That feeling of being connected to something beyond the constant chatter of the mind.

You don’t necessarily think your way into that experience.

Sometimes you simply feel it.

And that’s one of the reasons I love Reiki so much.

There is nothing you need to achieve.

Just space to pause, reconnect and experience what is already within you. 🤍

If you’ve ever wondered what a Reiki session might feel like, perhaps this is your invitation to experience it for yourself.

Meet my chiropractor, Dr. Débora Marques.

As therapists, we’re brilliant at looking after everyone else… but sometimes we need someone to look after us too.

A few months ago, I was struggling with a misaligned right hip, a tilted pelvis and sacrum, and constant pain. It was affecting not only my everyday life but also my ability to comfortably provide the massage and bodywork treatments I love.

From my very first appointment, Dr. Débora took the time to assess everything thoroughly, explain what was happening, and create a treatment plan that gave me confidence. With every adjustment and session, I’ve felt stronger, more balanced, and so much more like myself again.

As a massage and bodywork therapist, I know the value of skilled, hands-on care. This experience has reminded me that healing is often a team effort, and I’m incredibly grateful to have Dr. Débora in my corner.

Thank you for helping me continue doing what I love supporting my own clients to move better, feel better and live with less pain.

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, caring chiropractor, I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Débora Marques at Body Evolve, Gee Cross. BodyEvolve Spinal Health

Women are so good at caring for everyone else that they often forget to care for themselves.

Massage isn’t just a luxury it’s an investment in your physical and mental wellbeing. Regular treatments can help you feel calmer, move more freely, sleep better, and reconnect with your body before stress becomes pain.

Which one resonated with you the most? Let me know in the comments.

The number of times clients apologise for things that simply don’t need an apology… 💛

Hairy legs.
Talking too much.
Not talking enough.
Feeling emotional.
Not knowing exactly what treatment they need.

Please know that none of these things matter.

My treatment room is a space where you can simply arrive as you are and receive the support, rest and care you need.

Love me 🫶🏻💛

Waiting until you “absolutely need” a massage is a terrible strategy.

By that point, you’re no longer a relaxed human being you’re a collection of tight shoulders, a stiff neck, and stress held together by coffee and determination. ☕️😅

Regular massage isn’t just a treat for when things get really bad. It’s a way to support your body before tension becomes pain, before stress becomes exhaustion, and before your muscles start sending complaints to management.

Don’t wait until your body is shouting.

Listen when it’s whispering.

💆‍♀️ Massage isn’t a luxury.
🫶🏻It’s maintenance for the body that carries you through life

Happy Summer Solstice. May the light outside awaken the light within. ☀️

On this longest day, we give thanks to the Sun for its light, warmth, and life-giving energy. We honour the Earth beneath our feet, the waters that sustain us, the winds that guide us, and all our relations, human, animal, plant, and spirit. May we walk gently upon this land, live with gratitude in our hearts, and remember that we are part of a greater circle of life. 💛🙏
