One of the main benefits to exercise after having a baby is it improves your mental and emotional well being.
I would probably put the importance of that over weight/fat loss. The reason is if you are mentally and emotionally in the right place, the weight loss will follow 😊👍🏻
So now I am getting a hang of this motherhood thing, it’s time to tone up.

Happy International Prenatal Yoga Day!
Multiple studies have shown that prenatal yoga may help alleviate mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.
It also helps pregnant women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labor.
Please attend classes who are run by the qualified prenatal yoga instructor.

Green berry smoothies are great breakfast/snack options during pregnancy
Balanced and nutritious meal in a glass. For those days when you can’t face food or are in a rush.
It is rich in fibre, protein, and minerals like Zinc to nourish before and during pregnancy. If fresh berries are out of season then use frozen ☺
Add cinnamon to help balance your blood sugars.
Pumpkin seeds are a great source of calcium which is a vital component of the bone development of your baby and promotes a healthy heart and nervous system.
Banana is a great source of potassium and fibre which helps digestion and help regulate fluid levels in the body.
Berries are a great source of Vitamin C and because they are part of low GI fruit family (not affecting your blood sugar levels). Vitamin C protects you and your baby against disease.

Since becoming a mum it became really hard to fit in my own training sessions and just generally focus on myself.
Tiredness, lack of sleep and workload forces the exercise to take a back seat!
But today I decided that I will do something even if I have to take Lia with me and incorporate her in my session.
My session was about 20 minutes and that was enough just to feel better about myself, gain more energy and have more positive outlook on life.
To all my fellow mums, don’t put pressure on yourself to train for an hour 4 times a week. Just do a little bit of something which will make you feel better. Any workout is better than no workout 😊
