This time we chose this gorgeous little bee, a timeless design that symbolises strength, loyalty, resilience and the importance of family and community. Such a simple piece, yet full of meaning.

I absolutely love how this one turned out! The delicate wings paired with the bold stripes make it the perfect balance of fine line detail and impact, sitting beautifully alongside her existing floral tattoos. 🌸🐝

✨ A tattoo as unique as the bond between a mother and daughter. ✨

The lovely Heather came to see me with such a beautiful vision. She wanted to balance out her existing upper arm tattoos while creating something deeply personal and meaningful.

Using the exact placement of her daughter’s freckles as inspiration, we transformed them into a delicate fine line star constellation. To make it even more special, we incorporated the Cancer zodiac symbol, a beautiful tribute to her daughter and a design she’ll treasure forever. ♋️✨

I absolutely love how this piece came together. It’s subtle, elegant, and full of meaning… proof that the smallest tattoos often tell the biggest stories. 💖

🦋 A beautiful blush pink butterfly for one of my lovely returning clients. 🩷

A huge welcome back to my wonderful client, who returned this week for tattoo number THREE with me! 🫶🏼

This time we created this gorgeous soft pink butterfly, delicately placed on the shoulder. Butterflies are such a timeless design, symbolising growth, strength, hope and new beginnings, making them one of my favourite tattoos to create.

I absolutely love how this one turned out. The subtle pink shading adds a soft, feminine touch while keeping the design elegant and delicate.

💜 The prettiest little purple bow for one of my wonderful returning clients. 🎀

This time we created this beautiful, delicate purple bow on the back of the neck. I absolutely love how elegant and timeless it looks, with the soft purple tones giving it that extra touch of femininity. 💜

🐝 A tiny bee… carrying generations of history, pride and family values. 🖤

It was so lovely to welcome Cathy back to INK & AURA for another meaningful tattoo.

At first glance, this beautiful Manchester Bee is a timeless design, but the story behind it is what makes it so incredibly special.

Cathy’s great-grandfather worked on the narrow boats that travelled between Liverpool and Manchester, while her grandfather spent his childhood living aboard the boats with his brothers and sisters. As he grew older, he went on to work for Manchester City Council, becoming a respected member of the union and dedicating himself to representing the workforce.

More importantly, he became someone who inspired his family. He taught his sons, and later Cathy, her brother and their cousins, the true value of hard work, determination and standing together.

After her appointment, Cathy looked up the history of the Manchester Bee once again and shared something that made this tattoo even more meaningful.

The Manchester Bee was adopted as the emblem of Manchester City Council in 1842 because it represents an “industrious little grafter” small on its own, but incredibly powerful when working together. A reminder that individually we may seem insignificant, but together we are stronger. 💪

I couldn’t think of a more fitting symbol for Cathy’s family story.

This is why I love what I do. Every tattoo has a story, and every story deserves to be remembered.

✨🧡 Fresh nails for Em after an incredible American adventure! 🇺🇸💅

After an amazing road trip across America, the lovely Em was back in the studio this week for a fresh BIAB infill… and what a colour she chose! 😍

We used The Manicure Company Collection in the stunning shade Spritz O’Clock – a vibrant neon orange with the most beautiful sparkle. The perfect colour to keep those summer vibes going! ☀️✨

The best part? Em shared that while she was out shopping in Texas, someone actually stopped to compliment her nails! 🤩💖 I absolutely LOVE hearing stories like this. Knowing that nails created here at INK & AURA are turning heads on the other side of the world is such an amazing feeling!

For Cheryl’s set, we used BIAB with The Manicure Company in the stunning Collection shade Scorcher, a gorgeous vibrant neon pink that’s perfect for making a statement this summer. ☀️💅

To finish the look, we added a delicate white blooming flower accent with a subtle touch of sparkle, creating the perfect balance between bold colour and elegant nail art. 🌸
