Here’s how to prepare for your laser appointment and why each step actually matters for your results 👇

☀️ Avoiding sun exposure for 4 weeks before helps protect your skin and reduces the risk of sensitivity or pigmentation changes. Laser works best on untanned skin where we can clearly target the hair safely.

🦵🏼 Skipping fake tan for 7-10 days is important because laser can react with pigment in the skin. Any leftover tan can increase the chance of irritation and can block the laser from doing its job properly.

🙈 No waxing, plucking, or threading for at all during treatment because the laser needs the hair root in place to treat it. If the root is gone, there’s nothing for the laser to target.

🪒 Shaving 24 hours before keeps the surface smooth while leaving the root underneath intact. That means better energy delivery and more effective sessions.

🧴 No creams, oils, or deodorant on the day keeps the skin clean and reduces the chance of heat reaction or sensitivity during treatment.

🚩 Avoiding peels and harsh exfoliation for 1-2 weeks protects your skin barrier so it isn’t already stressed when we treat the area.

🧖‍♀️ Avoiding sauna, steam, and heat for 24-48 hours before keeps inflammation levels low and helps your skin stay calm going into your appointment.

👚 Wearing loose clothing prevents friction on the area afterwards and
keeps you more comfortable post-treatment.

skin respond better to treatment overall.
