šŸ’»āœØ Desk & Neck Reset — 30 Minutes

Do you spend your day at a desk, working on a laptop, driving, or constantly looking down at your phone?

It’s easy for tension to build up in your neck, shoulders and upper back without you even noticing.

Our new Desk & Neck Reset is a focused 30-minute sports massage designed around those areas that often feel tight, stiff and overworked.

✨ What you can expect:
• Targeted work for neck, shoulders & upper back
• Help to ease muscular tension
• Support for comfortable movement and mobility
• Time to switch off and relax
• A treatment tailored to where you feel the most tension

You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage — this one’s for anyone whose body could use a reset.

30 minutes to step away from your desk and give yourself some attention. šŸ¤

✨ Frozen Shoulder — Before & After Just 1 Session ✨

Sometimes, little improvements can make a BIG difference. ā¤ļø

This client came to me with a painful and restricted shoulder that was affecting everyday life and making it difficult to stay as active as she wanted.

Their main goal was simple: to get back to a normal routine, move more freely and become more active again.

After just one session, we can already see a noticeable improvement in overhead movement. šŸ™Œ

It might seem like a small change, but when you’ve been living with pain and restriction, being able to move that little bit further can make a huge difference.

For this client, it’s not just about the movement in the photo — it’s about getting back to doing the things she enjoys and feeling more like themselves again. šŸ’«

Little improvements. Big difference.

Training has become a big part of my day-to-day routine, and I genuinely enjoy it. But even with the best intentions, there are days when you need that extra push — someone to hold you accountable, challenge you and make you work a little harder than you would on your own.

That’s why I think investing in a PT is so worthwhile.

It’s not just about getting fitter or stronger; it’s about having someone push you to be the healthiest and fittest version of yourself.

Whether it’s 1-2-1 coaching or training as a group with friends, having someone there to guide you, keep you accountable and push you outside your comfort zone can make a huge difference.

If that’s something you’re chasing, or you’re just looking for a good excuse to have a fun training session with friends, then I know just the person…

Get in touch and you won’t regret it or message Phoenix: Performance and Recovery or Josh Rowe PT for more details.. Rowe PT x

I know better.

I understand the importance of recovery. I know that rest, sleep, nutrition and taking a step back when needed are just as important for good health and performance as the training itself.

I know that recovery helps me perform better, stay healthy, avoid burnout and actually sustain the things I enjoy doing.

But sometimes my logic is completely irrational.

I feel good → so I train more.
I’m being productive → so I keep going.
I’m enjoying the progress → so I push a little harder.
I know I should rest → but convince myself I can get away with one more session.

I have the knowledge.
I understand the advice.
I even know exactly what I should be doing.

And yet sometimes… I ignore it.

Not because I don’t care about my health, but because I’m human.

Finding the balance between pushing yourself and knowing when to recover isn’t always easy. Sometimes you get it right. Sometimes you go off track.

The important part is recognising it, listening to your body, and getting yourself back on course.

Recovery isn’t weakness.
Rest isn’t laziness.
And taking a step back doesn’t mean you’re losing progress.

Sometimes it’s exactly what allows you to keep moving forward.

I know better. I don’t always do better. I’m only human.

Your body is your greatest piece of equipment.

Maintain it, recover it, and respect it.

Sports massage isn’t just about easing pain—it’s about helping you perform, recover, and stay ready for your next challenge.

Because staying active means more moments doing the things you love.

ā€œIf sports massage was marketed as a performance-enhancing recovery tool instead of a luxury, more people would prioritise it weekly.ā€

Because recovery is one of the few things proven to improve:

• mobility
• circulation
• muscle recovery
• training performance
• injury prevention
• stress levels
• sleep quality
• long-term movement health

At the same time.

But instead, people are often taught to wear exhaustion like a badge of honour.

Meanwhile, tightness, fatigue, and small niggles are usually the body asking for recovery — not punishment.

Maybe the fitness conversation shouldn’t just focus on training harder.

Maybe it should focus on recovering smarter

šŸ„‡Prioritising your bodyšŸ„‡

ā€œWe’re terrible at taking care of our bodies… but we’ll prioritise everything else.

Work.
Social plans.
Scrolling for hours.
Even things that don’t actually matter that much.

Small % actually take time to look after their body properly…
most people just wait until something starts hurting šŸ‘€

Then it becomes urgent.

Tight back.
Sore shoulders.
Constant niggles that won’t go away.

And that’s usually when people come to me…
when their body’s already shouting šŸ˜…

But it doesn’t have to be like that.

Looking after your body isn’t about being perfect or doing loads…
it’s just about being a bit more consistent before things go wrong.

A little bit of time now > a lot of problems later.

So be honest…
are you in the small % or the ā€˜I’ll deal with it later’ group? šŸ‘‡

And if you’ve been putting it off…
take this as your sign to actually start.

You don’t have to figure it out alone šŸ‘Šā€
