fresh off the needle & already obsessed 😮‍💨

I am raising money for The Headlight Project. After losing my youngest sister to su***de following domestic violence in 2021, and my mother to su***de in 2024.
This cause is deeply personal to me, as I’ve been heavily affected by su***de, loss, and difficult life events involving my family and loved ones who meant everything to me. The Headlight Project has supported me through some of the hardest trauma and grief I have experienced. Through their services for people affected by su***de and bereavement, I’ve received counselling and EMDR therapy, which have helped me process the trauma and begin healing.
I will be taking part in this years Headlight Hike into the Light on 5th June. I’ll be walking 10 miles from Cod Beck reservoir and onto part of the Cleveland Way route from 10:30pm-5:00am finishing as the sun comes up.
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
The Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by su***de in the Tees Valley, which has one of the highest regional rates in the country. They aim to achieve this by providing therapy to those bereaved by su***de, and delivering preventative education and training to schools, local businesses and the community. I personally cannot thank them enough.

I’ll be hiking in memory of my sister Amy and my mum — carrying them with me every step of the way.
