CAN WE TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT TODAY? 🤍

My cousin shared something in our family group this week that really stuck with me.

She was standing in a queue at the shop ~ There was a police officer in the queue and an old lady standing in front of him.

She turned around and just gave him a big cuddle.

That’s it!
Just a tiny moment between two complete strangers.

But my cousin noticed it.
She told us about it.
And now I’m telling you.

It got me thinking about how quickly we share the things that frighten us, anger us or worry us — and Facebook is particularly good at showing us more and more of the same.

Yet there are probably hundreds of lovely little moments happening around us every single day that never make it onto anybody’s feed.

I’m not suggesting we stop sharing things that are important or that help keep people informed - I just think maybe the good stuff deserves some airtime too.

Someone doing something kind. Someone giving up their own time for other people. A local business doing something brilliant. A stranger helping somebody. Something lovely happening in your street or community.

Because the things we share travel.
