💰 £40,000 per year – Self-Employed

We’re looking for someone who:
🖊️ Has strong professional tattooing experience
🎓 Is passionate about teaching & mentoring
🧠 Has excellent industry knowledge
🧼 Understands professional hygiene & safety standards
🔥 Can inspire, motivate and develop students
🇬🇧 Is UK based and able to work in Middlesbrough

Teaching experience is a bonus, but industry experience and the right attitude are what matter most.

Today is one of those posts I never thought I’d have to write.

Since 2011, Linthorpe Road has been home to Skins & Needles.

It’s where we grew from a small local studio into the brand we are today. It’s where we’ve built our reputation, made lifelong friendships and welcomed thousands of people through our doors.

But after 15 incredible years, the time has come to move on.

As we’ve grown, so has our vision. We’ve reached the point where Linthorpe Road can no longer accommodate what Skins & Needles has become or where we want to take it next. This move isn’t about leaving somewhere behind it’s about taking the next step in our journey.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be moving out, with our final day in the building taking place sometime during August, depending on when our new home is ready.

What a journey it’s been.

This building has seen thousands upon thousands of tattoos, thousands of piercings and countless unforgettable moments. Some of the biggest parties we’ve ever thrown happened within these walls. We’ve celebrated successes, supported each other through difficult times and watched apprentices become incredible artists.

Hundreds of artists, piercers, barbers and team members have been part of this story. To every member of staff, past and present, thank you. You’ve all helped make Skins & Needles what it is today.

Most importantly, thank you to every customer who’s trusted us since 2011. Every tattoo, every piercing, every recommendation and every booking has made this possible.

This isn’t the end.

It’s the start of our biggest chapter yet.

We’ll be taking you behind the scenes throughout the move, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming.

If you’ve got an appointment booked, it’s business as usual.

And before anyone asks… our barbers will still be on Linthorpe Road for now. We’ll share those plans when the time is right.
