When the salon turns into a mini oven 🥵

Our gel products are designed to work best at normal room temperatures — but during this heatwave, they’re feeling the strain! The heat makes gels thinner and trickier to control, and even natural nails react by expanding, sweating, and producing more oils, which can affect adhesion and longevity.

Afternoon sun can turn the salon into a bit of a greenhouse, so I’m using every trick of the trade to keep things running smoothly and maintain the quality you expect.

To help, I’ll be offering earlier appointments and adjusting hours slightly while the heat lasts. Thank you for understanding — we’re all doing our best to keep cool and keep those nails looking beautiful!
