Not all dermaplaning treatments are the same and technique matters.
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that dermaplaning is simply “removing peach fuzz.” In reality, it’s a precise form of manual exfoliation that requires the correct blade angle, controlled pressure and a thorough understanding of the skin.
Before I begin, I assess your skin to ensure dermaplaning is the right treatment for you. The skin is then carefully prepared before using a sterile surgical blade to gently remove the build-up of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair without compromising the skin barrier.
