Ar**la tattoo isnt just for post mastectomy or breast cancer clients.

Ar**la tattooing can be for anyone who has had breast or chest surgery and wants to add that final touch to their result.

This lovely lady came to me following a breast uplift, where her natural areolas were left with scarring and quite pale in colour after her surgery.

Together, we created new areolas designed specifically for her — carefully considering size, shape, colour and placement, this is right after the first session. People need 2-3 sessions to cover scarring.

Using a combination of colour, shading and realistic detail, the aim is always to create something that looks as natural and individual as possible.

And because it’s the little details that make something feel truly you… i also added a tiny tattooed beauty spot. 🥰

The aim with hyper realism isn’t to create a brow that looks tattooed.

It’s to create the illusion of real hair.

For this client, who had sparse natural brow hair, I worked with her natural colouring, facial structure and the direction her minimal existing hairs naturally grow — building the design gradually over two sessions.

Each individual hair is placed with intention, following the movement, direction and flow of real brow hair.

No solid blocks.
No cookie-cutter shape.
No one-size-fits-all template.

Just carefully drawn hair strokes designed specifically for her.

And that’s what I love about hyper realism — when it’s done well, you notice the difference without immediately noticing why. 🩷

Hyper realism brow tattooing is about much more than creating a nice shape.

It’s about studying the natural brow — the direction of the hair, the density, the gaps, the movement — and recreating that detail in a way that works with the face rather than against it.

For this client, I created soft, individual hairstrokes with a fluffy, natural front and a gentle arch, keeping the result light and believable.

💡 WHAT ARE HYPER REALISM BROWS?
Hyper realism brows are an advanced and intricate form of brow tattoo, not a template or cookie-cutter approach. Designed uniquely to your face and features, they are created like a drawing (my background is art, not beauty), with movement and flow to match the way your natural brow hair grows. No blocks, no templates—every brow is designed freehand, just for you, because every face is different.
💡 HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
Two sessions are needed, spaced 5–6 weeks apart. This is immediately after the first session. No redness or trauma to the skin.
💡 WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
I draw them on first so you can see the shape I recommend for your face, and we can tweak the drawing as much as you like before getting started. Colour is selected for your skin tone and hair, then I carry out the treatment using numbing cream. It’s a very relaxing experience, and most people rate it around 2/10 in terms of discomfort.
