There isn’t a one answer fits all!

How long your gels last depends on a combination of factors such as:

Your natural nails 💅 everyone’s nails are different. Some are naturally stronger, some are softer or more flexible. It may be a trial and error for the first few appointments to see what’s right for you.

Your lifestyle🏋️‍♂️ If your hands are constantly in water, you’re lifting heavy objects, cleaning without gloves or using your nails as tools, you’ll naturally put them under more stress.
Even habits that you aren’t aware of such as squeezing, picking or pressing on your nails can have an impact.

Your aftercare 🧴
Regular cuticle oil
Avoiding picking or peeling
Washing off creams that aren’t made for nails
Avoiding pools, saunas and sunbeds
Not using your nails as tools: opening packages, picking stickers, scratching, pressing toilet buttons
Looking after them inbetween appointments

At the end of the day, everyone’s nails are different. Rather than comparing your nails to someone else’s, it’s better to look at what’s normal for your nails and make small changes if they’re not lasting as expected. I will work with you to find the right nails for you! Any questions just ask!

Focusing on a slower, more intentional life can be pretty difficult when you’re trying to manage your AuDHD... especially when summer is in full swing and burnout is haunting your dreams.

i’m really grateful that i’ve been able to build a work schedule that works for me and gives me the freedom to figure out what i need, instead of forcing myself into something that doesn’t fit. My clients are so understanding and can’t thank them enough

I’ve met some really amazing humans this year, and honestly, it feels like my whole life has been shaken up in the best way. i’m still figuring it all out, but it feels like i’m finally building a life that actually fits me, instead of trying to fit myself into someone else’s version of it

Any other autistic/ADHD people hate being perceived, but also want to be authentic? Like, you want to show the real you and connect with people, but you’re scared of coming across as a show-off?

Just a few rules I’ve experienced or seen on socials.

Working with disabled children and adults in the past, It was natural to adapt activities to their needs. Even nail painting… I would run around the room after them with the nail brush because they weren’t able to sit still but loved having them painted. I know my service isn’t suitable for those with high support needs (at the moment) but we’re is that flexibility in the industry????

💜 plan colour, glitter or cat-eye polish
💜 simple manicure prep (no Russian mani)
💜 NO art, gems, sensory nails allowed to be added
