I met the lovely Leaonie yesterday for her first ever curly cut.

After straightening her curls all of her life as she just saw her hair as frizzy, and since her daughter has got her mums curly hair, shes decided to start wearing her natural curls so her daughter will love hers too 🥹 She just needed to learn how to manage them.

Since having her daughter, she lost quite a bit of hair. You can see all the healthy new growth, leaving the ends looking really fine. She didnt want to loose the full length on her first visit, so we gave it a good tidy up, and will remove the length in stages. I think her natural curls are so beautiful and shiny.

I met the lovely Susan today who drove down from Scotland for her first visit.

All her life Susan has been told by hairdressers that she must keep her hair short to be able to handle her curls. Hairdressers have always shaved the back and sides off, cropped. But shes always wanted longer hair.

As shes grown her hair out for over a year to give it some length to work with, today was all about a re set cut, balancing out the back length to match the sides.

Ive recommended to leave it until the new year now for it all to grow down together and to visit me again in January to give her a new shape to work with those new curls and not frizz like she thought it was 🥰

A new visitor today who is just starting her curly 'journey'.

Dawn has been straightening her hair her whole life to combat the 'frizz'. She knew there was curls in the family but always put her hair down to being frizzy and no curl.

I explained through her consultation, that due to years of heat damage, it may take a few visits to remove it to see the best results.
I was going to wait until her final results to post her before and afters but after seeing this after her first visit, I wanted to share.

Dawn is going to come every 3 months for now, until she gets the condition back into those curls, and has been sent away with the knowledge on how to work with her new curls and the curly girl handbook to read up on 😂

I will post another update once all the damage is removed and only her natural curls showing! 💙

A new visitor in today.
After not visiting a curly stylist for well over a year, today I gave it a good shaping again and applied plenty of moisture to give her amazing curls some life again ✨️

Lisa rocked her new style, and her curls absorbed the moisture giving her curls so much more definition!
