The upcoming UK cosmetics restriction bans TPO from being placed on the Great Britain market starting 15 August 2026, with a final sell-through date for distributors by 14 February 2027.
Nail technicians operating in Great Britain are legally permitted to use up any existing stock they have already purchased, even after these deadlines pass.
Please do not worry Bodyessence Beauty uses award winning CND Shellac & Lecente gel polish brands.
Last year when it was banned in Europe and Ireland , I went through all the colours ( I have over 250!) , and noted which colours have it in .
CND have reformulated their gel polish to not include TPO so any new colours or replacements will not have TPO in it.
If you have any concerns when choosing our colours please do not hesitate to ask. All bottles with TPO are now labelled in the salon.
