Day in the life of an independent Hairdresser & Beautician 🫶
1: Fridays I start work at lunchtime which means I get to train . Friday was cardio, upper & abs 🫡
2: Back home, post workout meal, shower & onto stock ordering 🧾
3: Iced Coffee always (I’m currently using the Space Goods powder which has been a game changer for my energy) ☕️
4: Cabin window & external cleaning 🧼
5: Consultation for a lovely new hair customer 💬
6: Natural nail manicure, cut, full head colour & a restyle with a cut & finish 💇🏻♀️

These are the steps I’m taking within the salon to reduce our impact on the world 🌎
• Recycling all the salon waste that doesn’t normally get recycled (hair foil, hair) ♻️
• Using biodegradable & compostable towels to reduce my water consumption (these then get reused & composted in my home compost system)💧
• Recycling all other recyclables
• Recycling the coffee pods (using a special device to empty the grounds to be composted & then recycling the metal pods) ☕️
