The time has come to close one chapter and begin a new one. ❤️

As many of you know, our salon has always held so many special memories for us, especially memories of our amazing Dad. While our love for him will always stay with us, we feel it is time to move forward into a new space where we can continue doing what we love while creating new memories together.

We are excited to announce that we will now be teaming up with GFM Barber Shop, 7 Union Street.

This decision has not been easy, but we hope this new beginning will help us feel more settled while still bringing you the same love, care, and service you have always supported us for.

Thank you all for your continued support, kindness, and loyalty through everything. We look forward to welcoming you to our new salon and starting this next chapter together. ✨

We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the kindness, messages, and support we have received following the sudden loss of our dad. Your compassion during this incredibly difficult time has meant more to us than words can express.

We will be returning to the salon on Friday 20th Feb. However, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we adjust to this new and unfamiliar chapter.

Working without Dad’s presence in the salon, after so many years alongside him, will be deeply emotional for us.

Thank you for your continued support and for allowing us the space to navigate this loss while doing our best to carry on.

Thank you all so much for your kind and wonderful words about our amazing dad, James Sengun — a loving father and a truly talented hairdresser and great friend to all, including all the doggies.

So many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and it has meant more to us than we can ever express. As Dad’s passing was completely unexpected and so sudden, we sadly do not have a funeral plan in place, which deeply upsets us.

As much as we don't want to ask for help, we have decided to set up a GoFundMe to give him the send-off he truly deserves. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be deeply appreciated. Even just sharing this or continuing to send your kind messages means the world to us during this incredibly sad and difficult time.

It is with great sadness that Ariva family must announce the passing of our wonderful hairdresser James.

He was a very much loved father and grandfather and of course a kind friend to all.

We thank you for all your support over the years at Ariva and want you all to know that James valued all his clients new and existing.

We ask to please be patient with us as we come to terms with the shock of this news as it is all very sudden.

A message from our Beautician Vicky:

Happy New Year to my lovely Clients, I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and I hope this year brings health and happiness to us all 🥰.

My maternity leave is coming to an end soon, from the beginning of March I will be working every Saturday and then gradually more days in the following months 🙂.

I will be getting in contact next month when I will start to take appointments, please don't hesitate to get in contact too with either messaging me directly on Facebook or calling Ariva to leave your name and number and I will give you a call back once I'm taking bookings 🙂.
