I’ll die on the hill that skincare is the best place to spend your money 🫶🏼🪄

Forever skincare obsessed as it’s 80% of the work we do with our skin - it’s the fundamentals, it’s the groundwork it’s everything

Two of my fave analogies are -

1 - If you’re starting a veg patch would you just dig up the grass chuck some seeds in and hope good veg grew ? Or … would you prep the soil , use compose and fertilise it get it ready then plant your seeds ? Which do you think would grow the veg better ?

This is your skin , prep it right , get it as healthy as possible, get it functioning as well as it can and it’ll receive any treatment better. It’ll be able to do more with the energy / injury/ ingredients it’s given

2 - Skincare is like brushing your teeth twice a day , treatments are like your dental visits 🫶🏼 you wouldn’t just see the dentist/ hygienist and not brush your teeth would you ?

If you are stuck with skincare seeming to do nothing , or not knowing what you should be using book in for a zoom/ in clinic consultation and we can make the perfect routine bespoke to what you need to get the best results 🫶🏼

The irrational things that give me the ick…The way my head bobbles around on a bouncy road. The obscenely loud rattling noise a pull-along suitcase makes through a train station. The clip-clop sound of heels on a hard floor.

These might be reasons to unfollow me. Or maybe why you’re here 😂 These are more likely the ones…

1- I’ll tell you no. I won’t give you the treatment you want if I know it’s not going to get you the result you actually want. I’ll always explain why, & I’ll always give you the options that are most likely to get you there in the best amount of time, for the best value. It’s not good for you, it’s not good for me,it’s not good for my business to do treatments I don’t believe in

2 - I’ll call you out on your bu****it. I’m good at what I do & I get great results, but I’m not a magician. You have to hold up your end of the plan too. If you’re not doing that but you’re expecting results, I’ll probably call you out on it

3 - I don’t do cheap. I don’t do cheap deals, cheap treatments, cheap machines or cheap skincare. Cheap nearly always comes with compromises, that’s not something I’m willing to offer. I’m guessing you don’t want cheap results either

4 - I’ll meet you where you meet me. I’m not going to force you into a treatment plan or a course of treatments. You’ve either decided you’re ready to deal with the thing that’s bothering you most about your skin, or you haven’t. When you’re ready, I’m here. Until then, I’m not a hard salesperson

5- I’ll educate you. I’ll explain what we’re doing, what we’re using, why we’re using it, what’s happening in your skin and what we’re aiming for. I’ve been told I give too much information before… I disagree. I think you should understand your own skin and be part of the journey

6 - I’ll meet your energy. I won’t tolerate rudeness or passive aggression. This clinic is a space I’ve built to improve people’s lives, including my own. I value my peace, value my clients. That’s why we have brilliant relationships. We laugh. A lot. We chat, share, get through the hard stuff together. If you don’t meet me with tha

Your mouth is home to hundreds of different species of bacteria. Most are completely normal and healthy, but they don’t belong on your skin. Neither does all of the ingredients in your toothpaste that are great at cleaning your teeth but not great for your skin

When you brush your teeth, toothpaste, saliva and oral bacteria can end up around the chin, lips and corners of the mouth. If you then go straight in with your skincare, you’re potentially trapping those residues against the skin.

If you’re prone to breakouts around the chin, jawline or mouth, or you struggle with perioral dermatitis, this is one of those small habits that’s worth changing. Brush your teeth first, rinse your mouth and the surrounding skin well, then cleanse your face afterwards. It takes an extra 30 seconds, but it removes toothpaste ingredients like fluoride and sodium lauryl sulphate, along with saliva and bacteria, before they have a chance to sit on the skin.

It’s not a magic cure, but it’s one of those simple changes that can make a genuine difference, especially if the area around your mouth is reactive. 💁🏼‍♀️🫶🏼 You’re welcome x

🏆 Dedicated - Researched - Accountable 🏆

Hats off to my amazing client that did absolutely everything I asked of him , he ordered the supplements straight away , started the wishskinhealthuk products and has been religiously using these. Booked the course of Aerolase® Healthy Energy for All Skin sessions , knew his food and lifestyle triggers, stopped and managed those. 👏🏼

Going from pustules every single day that truly affected him so badly to clear healthy happy skin is the biggest win ❤️

I love to see the happiness change in peoples faces when I put a before and after together, it’s truly the best part of my job

Thank you so much for letting me share SaM2 legend 🙌🏼

🩸💉 The next stage in my health journey with Farren Brown | Health Coach - my Next Blood draw , GI testing 💉🩸

I promised I’d document all the changes so this is my update

My test was for these markers

Draw 1 (fasting, morning, cycle day 2 to 5):
Ferritin, iron, TIBC, transferrin, transferrin saturation, B12, active B12, folate (serum and RBC), MMA, homocysteine, TSH, free T4, free T3, reverse T3, TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies, FSH, LH, estradiol, total and free testosterone, SHBG, DHT, DHEA-S, prolactin, AMH, HbA1c, fasting insulin, hs-CRP, vitamin D, selenium, zinc, and an AM cortisol.

Draw 2 (cycle day 19 to 22):
Progesterone and estradiol.

Stool:
GI-MAP with zonulin (the version that includes H. pylori).

No guess work - all very deliberate testing with purpose. I honestly cannot stress enough the importance of working with someone with the knowledge, the support and experience.

Not an ad or affiliate program this is all self funded because I have spent too many years feeling this way and not getting the answers to get better ❤️‍🩹

If you struggle with feeling unwell, tired, not yourself anymore, if you struggle with gut health , symptoms you can’t work out how to fix , no answers no matter how many questions you’ve asked I strongly recommend Farren Brown | Health Coach x 🫶🏼
