For a long time, I thought success meant being fully booked.

A packed diary.
Working every available hour.
Squeezing in “just one more appointment.”

And while I’m incredibly grateful for every client who chooses Solace Beauty, my mindset has changed.

I’ve realised that success isn’t about being busy every minute of every day.

It’s about creating a business that works around the life I want to live.

Being there for my children.
Supporting my husband and his business.
Enjoying walks with my dog.
Making memories with the people I love.

Because I also know that none of those things are possible if I’m constantly running on empty.

For me, success is no longer about being fully booked at the expense of the things that matter most — my family, my wellbeing, and my mental health.

Of course I still want to grow my business, but not at the cost of missing precious moments or neglecting myself along the way.

These days, success looks a little different.

It’s having enough.

Enough clients.
Enough income.
Enough time.
Enough balance.

So if you’ve ever felt like you’re behind because you’re not “fully booked”, this is your reminder that your version of success doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Christine x

I spent so much of my life focused on fixing the outside when what I really needed was healing internally.
