I wanted to share a quick update with you. I’ve had the surgery and I’m on the road to recovery! However, I’m still unsure when I can return to work. I broke my wrist in three places - if you’re gonna do it, do it right!? 🫣 I can move my fingers now, which is a positive step, but I still can’t use my thumb, so gripping anything is quite the challenge. It’s early days, though!

I’m seeing the surgeon a week on Friday, and I’ll keep you posted on my progress. In the meantime, I hope you’re all well and either managing with your nails or have found a nail tech to help maintain or remove your enhancements. If you need any advice on removing them yourselves, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ve shared some at-home removal tips on my socials. While this advice is primarily for gel polish, the same principles apply to builder gel—it may just take a bit longer.

Hello ladies, I’m really sorry to share that I will be out of action for several weeks. After just three days in Italy, I had a serious fall on a slippery, wet floor, which forced us to return to the UK. I visited A&E today, and they confirmed I’ve suffered a severe Colles fracture. The doctors have manipulated my wrist while I was sedated and put it in a cast, but unfortunately, the bones are not in an ideal position, so surgery is necessary 👎🏼. At this moment, I can’t say when I’ll be back at work. I’m absolutely gutted 😭. I promise to keep you updated on my recovery and expected return, but please don’t wait for me, as the timeline is uncertain. I will really miss you all, and I’m hopeful this is just a temporary setback. With the help of the surgeons, I can’t wait to be back to making your nails look gorgeous again soon 💕 xx
