Getting over the d£ath of your loved ones is actually one of the most difficult things you can ever do. I guess we don't get over it. We only learn to live without them 😔. If you were given an opportunity to bring one person back to life, who would that be?

15/10/2026

One of my colleagues was narrating the story of the 15 year old girl that rose from her own coffin on the day of her burial and all of my colleagues were in shock except me😁

You know why?

They were asking if there were still countries where people’s d£aths are not verified by trained medical professionals before being declared d£ad.

For the records, if anyone dies in the UK, even at home, a trained medical professional which in most cases are usually doctors MUST attend to verify the d£ath before anything.

Even if the family saw the person breathing for the last time today, if the medical professional that verified the d£ath came the next day, the date of death acceptable is that next day that the medical professional verified the d£ath.

You know why?

That someone has stopped breathing and appears lifeless doesn’t confirm that the person has passed away.

It could be cardiac arrest or even the person being in coma.

So, the 15 year old girl in Guatemala took ill and suddenly became unresponsive the next day on their way to the hospital

The father didn’t reach the hospital but rather brought her back home and they started arranging her burial.

You would agree with me that this is very common even in Naija.

The burial was arranged and everyone gathered crying for her.

Thank goodness the coffin had transparent side where someone noticed that she was moving and stopped them from proceeding with the burial.

She got up from her coffin and even drank water.

People were asking if it was a miracle or she never died in the first place 🤷🏽‍♀️

Just a reminder not to conclude that someone is d£ad too quick.

Especially if it was sudden.

You can still reach the hospital for confirmation or invite a medical professional if it happened at home.

Before you would bury your loved ones alive 🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽

Another thing to check if you are having constant headache a few days or weeks after delivery aside from good sleep and BP, is your bl00d level. If you lost much during your delivery and the level has gone low, it could result in constant headache. That should be checked first before malaria and typhoid.

14/10/2026

I was speaking with a woman that just put to bed within one month and she complained of a headache that has refused to stop.

She said that she already ran tests and it was said to be malaria and typhoid and she has completed the treatment but the headache has persisted.

The first question i asked was 👇🏽

Have you been sleeping well after child delivery?

Did they check your blood pressure to confirm that there are no issues?

These are the things you check first even before that malaria and typhoid.

I'm sorry to say that many of us that work in the laboratory are too quick to write malaria and typhoid 🤦🏽

Probably because even the patients that are coming for the test already concluded in their minds that they have it😁

I remembered giving a patient a result back then and explained that the malaria parasite was too scanty and could not be the issue.

He told me that i don't know my work well 🤣🤣🤣

He looked at me like i was unserious med lab scientist 😁

Ensure that you have good sleep and also check your BP when you experience constant headache a few days or weeks after child delivery.

🤰🏽 DID YOU KNOW? YOUR BODY MAKES ROOM FOR YOUR BABY! ❤️

As your baby grows during the later stages of pregnancy, your organs gradually adjust to create space for your little one. 🥰

Your lungs, stomach, intestines, bladder, and other organs experience changes that may cause symptoms such as breathlessness, heartburn, bloating, and frequent urination.

These changes are a normal part of pregnancy, although every woman’s experience is different. However, never ignore severe or unusual symptoms—always speak to your midwife or healthcare professional if you are concerned.

✨ Your body is doing amazing work to nurture your growing baby!

Wait for proper healing after child delivery before bedroom activity, you say no 😔. Later you would be running upanda to know how to tighten vg after child delivery. Something that was supposed to tighten itself, you didn't allow it to rest 🚶🏽🚶🏽🚶🏽

12/10/2026

The vg is elastic and naturally goes back after child delivery. You don't have to bother yourself with what to do to tighten it. The only thing that could help the muscles around there to tighten up is kegel exercise. You could do after child delivery if you think that it's not tight enough. I hope you had a great day ❤️

I hope you know that s£x is safe in pregnancy up to even a day before your delivery. It’s only in rare conditions like threatened pregnancy that doctors could advise against that. In fact, frequent s£x is advised close to your delivery to help your labour. That would also help your husband to be able to wait for you to recover well after child delivery. Some pregnant women think that s£x could hurt babies in the womb 😁. When they finally deliver, the husband would think that everything is over and it’s time to go back to the bedroom the following week after delivery 😂😂😂

I had a conversation with one of our patient’s husband years ago before i left Nigeria.

The man brought his wife to our hospital and he was carrying their 4 month old baby while the wife was just asking me questions about postpartum recovery.

We started chatting around child delivery while they were waiting to see the doctor.

This man schooled me like someone that hasn’t given birth before 😁

You could literally see that he was 💯 involved in the whole pregnancy and child delivery.

In his words 👇🏽

I have never felt so useless to my wife like i did in the labour room.

She was in so much pain that she described as being burnt by fir£ for many hours and i couldn’t do anything.

As if that was not enough, the midwives asked her to start pushing out the baby when the pains were extreme and she barely had any strength left.

I saw the head of our child struggling to pass through that small vg with lots of bl00d flowing out.

I saw how the midwives cut the vg with sharp razor blade to expand it more for the baby’s head to come out

I still witnessed them stitching that tears they gave her after the baby and the placenta came out.

The doctor told us during the hospital discharge that we should stay off bedroom activity for at least 6 weeks for her healing.

But i have told my wife that we will take 6 months off and if she still wants more time after that, i would understand.

For everything i saw her go through in that labour room is enough to put my s£xual urge low for many months.

I never knew the man before but he earned my respect from that day.

Any man that genuinely cares for you and watch what you went through in labour room wouldn’t pressure you before you are fully recovered from childbirth.

That’s why it’s very important for that man to be in that labour room with you

He would support you and also see what you went through and like he said, that experience alone could keep the urge low during your recovery period.

6 weeks is the minimum.

You need proper healing before anything goes in there again.

That stitched tears/episiotomy doesn’t heal easily.

Even several months after delivery, there is still a way you would do in the bedroom and feel pain there again.

Many mothers can relate to the above.
