The warmest welcome to our new BSc Paramedic Science students who started their journey today. They got stuck in with an afternoon of ‘inner Picasso’ , marshmallows and spaghetti towers, lots and undress the manikin in the fastest time finished with a lot of pizza 🍕 …. What a comparative bunch they are - we can’t wait to get to know you better!

You did it! 2022 Cohort it was a privilege to share your graduation day with family and friends. You’ve only gone and done it - we are so very very proud of you

After 3 pretty tough years we finally did it. When we joined UEA in 2019 we had no idea that 6 months into our degree we would be hit so hard by a pandemic. Our expectations of uni changed rapidly as we tried to adjust to online learning (both student and lecturers) and only coming into uni in groups of 6 very occasionally for skill sessions. Not only were we learning how to be amazing paramedics but we were also learning and adapting to the ever changing laws and rules around what we could and could not do. We could not have done this without the incredible lecturing team and the support from associate tutors and our fabulous EEAST mentors, thank you so much!

It feels strange saying goodbye to everyone but I want to wish all of you the very best luck and go be the amazing paramedics we have been taught to be!

You’ve made it BSc paramedic Science Class of 2022 - you have survived a pandemic , hours of on line learning, hand sanitiser and masks to become UEA Paramedic graduates - we are so very very proud of you. The legend Lawrence Hill delivering his infamous speech 🥂🥂🥂
