A lovely option when you'd like a top-toe treatment but are short on time.

This 45 minute treatment aims to leave you feeling warm, cosy and totally relaxed. There will be no position changes needed, just sink into the warm couch and r e l a x 💛

As the weather gets cooler there is something so lovely about sinking into a warm massage couch and have the hot stones worked into your massage 🍂

If you have never had hot stones before, the warmth of the stones helps you to relax DEEPLY, they feel amazing on tired and tense muscles, it can literally feel like the tension is melting away 🔥

There’s something so special about those early weeks with your baby 🫶

The cuddles, the snuggles and the comfort you get from being close to each other 🤱 💕

Postnatal massage during those early weeks can be such a lovely way to support your wellbeing and recovery. Your body has done a LOT, and is likely in need of some TLC, and you don’t have to leave your baby behind to enjoy a massage 🙌

In fact, the earlier the better when it comes to those gorgeous baby snuggles! As they get older, they tend to become much more interested in looking around than staying cuddled up!

The reality of bringing your baby to your postnatal massage appointment is that baby might sleep or snuggle with you for your massage . . .

BUT . . .

Baby might wake up.
Or need a feed.
They might want a cuddle.
They might need changing.
They might decide they absolutely do NOT want to lie in the bassinet for you to have a back massage

And that’s all FINE 🫶

We can adapt your treatment so you can cradle baby, snuggle them on your chest or lie on your side for cuddles or feeds.

You can check on them whenever you want to (No eye masks for postnatal treatments with babies present)and I’ll be keeping an eye on them too making sure that they are safe and happy

There’s a bassinet at The Retreat, but bring your pram or baby chair if that’s what works for you. And partners are very welcome too if you’d like another pair of hands.

The only thing I do ask is that babies are non-mobile. Once they’re rolling or on the move, it’s no longer possible to provide the safe, settled environment for both you and your baby.

So if you’ve been thinking, “I’d love a massage, but I can’t leave the baby…”

You don’t have to. Bring them with you 🙂
