Omega's golden era didn't end in the 1960s. 👀
And this 1971 Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 ref. 166.130 is a perfect example of why.
The 1970s marked an exciting period for Omega, with the brand experimenting with bolder designs, larger cases and a new approach to traditional watchmaking.
This particular Seamaster Cosmic 2000 captures that evolution beautifully.
Its impressive 38mm stainless steel case was generously proportioned for its time, offering a wrist presence that still feels remarkably contemporary over 50 years later.
The elegant pearl white dial provides a beautiful contrast to the distinctive case design, while inside sits Omega's reliable automatic Calibre 1012.
Finished on a premium black leather strap and presented with a Mr Watch Winder travel case, this is a fantastic example of a vintage Omega that deserves far more attention.
While the 1960s are often celebrated as Omega's golden era, watches like this remind us just how much the brand continued to innovate throughout the following decade.
Could the 1970s be Omega's most underrated decade?
We certainly think there's a strong argument for it. 👀

£1,495 ⌚ 38mm of vintage Omega goodness. 👀
This 1971 Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 ref. 166.130 is a fantastic example of Omega's bold transition into the 1970s, combining distinctive case design with the timeless elegance we've come to love from vintage Seamasters.
Its impressive 38mm stainless steel case offers considerably more wrist presence than many of its 1960s predecessors, while the beautiful pearl white dial keeps things clean, refined and effortlessly wearable.
Inside sits Omega's highly regarded automatic Calibre 1012, a movement that reflects the brand's mechanical innovation during this fascinating period of watchmaking.
Finished on a premium black leather strap and presented with a Mr Watch Winder travel case, this is a vintage Omega that offers something a little different from the usual Seamaster.
Bigger proportions. Distinctive 1970s styling. Classic Omega craftsmanship.
And here's the question…
Are 1970s Omega Seamasters some of the most underrated vintage watches on the market?
We certainly think they deserve more attention. 👀
Rolex won the marketing war. Omega won the design war. 👀
Controversial? Maybe. But these two watches make a pretty convincing argument…
Two stunning 1966 Omega Constellation Pie Pans, both reference 168.005, showcasing some of the finest design and craftsmanship from Omega's golden era.
With their beautifully proportioned 35mm cases, iconic twelve-sided Pie Pan dials and distinctive Observatory medallion casebacks, these Constellations represent an era when Omega was producing some of Switzerland's most celebrated chronometer-certified watches.
And more than 60 years later, the design is every bit as captivating.
While Rolex built an empire around watches like the Datejust, Omega was creating some of the most beautifully detailed dials in watchmaking history.
The best part? Today, you can often pick up a vintage Constellation Pie Pan for a fraction of the price of a comparable vintage Rolex Datejust.
Does a more recognisable name really make a better watch?
For us, these two 1966 Constellations are proof that exceptional design doesn't always come with the biggest price tag.
Rolex might have won the popularity contest, but when it comes to vintage elegance, Omega gets our vote. 👑
Agree or disagree? Let the debate begin. 👇
Rolex won the marketing war. Omega won the design war. 👀
Controversial? Maybe. But hear us out…
During the 1950s and 60s, Omega was producing some of the finest chronometer-certified watches in Switzerland, and the Constellation Pie Pan was arguably one of its greatest achievements.
That distinctive twelve-sided dial, beautifully sculpted hour markers, elegant case proportions and iconic Observatory medallion — everything about the Constellation Pie Pan screams golden-era Swiss watchmaking.
Meanwhile, Rolex built one of the most recognisable luxury watch brands in the world, with the Datejust becoming an undisputed icon.
But here's the question…
Does being more recognisable actually make something better?
For us, the vintage Omega Constellation Pie Pan offers some of the most beautiful dial designs ever produced, often at a fraction of the price of a comparable vintage Rolex.
Rolex might have won the popularity contest, but when it comes to pure vintage design, we're giving Omega the crown. 👑
Agree or disagree? We want to hear it. 👇

£1,495 ⌚ 37mm of vintage Omega perfection. 👀
This 1966 Omega Constellation Jumbo ref. 14777-62 SC is something rather special, combining two of the most desirable features you could hope to find on a vintage Constellation.
First, the 37mm Jumbo stainless steel case — considerably larger than the typical 34–35mm Constellations of the era, giving this example an impressive wrist presence while retaining those elegant 1960s proportions.
Then there's the real showstopper — a stunning midnight black dial, a particularly uncommon configuration that creates a beautiful contrast against the silver and white detailing.
Turn it over and you'll find the iconic Observatory medallion caseback, celebrating Omega's chronometer heritage.
Inside sits the highly regarded automatic Calibre 561, while a premium black leather strap with an Omega buckle completes the look.
Rare proportions. An incredible dial. Pure vintage Omega.
For us, this is one of the most striking Constellations we've had the pleasure of offering.
Would you choose this over a traditional 35mm Pie Pan?
Not your everyday vintage Rolex… 👀
This 1973 Rolex Oysterdate Precision ref. 6694 is a particularly distinctive example of one of Rolex’s most understated vintage classics, featuring a dial configuration we absolutely love.
Its beautifully proportioned 34mm stainless steel case frames the standout feature — a rare grey Ghost dial, creating a subtle monochromatic aesthetic that gives this Oysterdate a completely different character from more traditional examples.
Unlike most modern Rolex watches, the ref. 6694 is powered by the manual-winding Calibre 1225, offering a more traditional and engaging connection to the mechanical watchmaking of the era.
Finished on a Rolex stainless steel bracelet and accompanied by a Rolex box, swing tags and instruction booklet, this is a wonderfully presented vintage example with plenty of collector appeal.
For us, the Ghost dial is what makes this watch so special. Understated, unusual and effortlessly timeless.
Would you choose this over a conventional silver or ch*****ne dial?

£4,495 - Not your average vintage Datejust… 👀
This 1979 Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 is a particularly striking example of one of Rolex’s most iconic designs, featuring a combination we don't come across very often.
Its classic 36mm stainless steel case is complemented by an 18k yellow gold bezel and the standout feature — an uncommon two-tone Oyster bracelet.
While most vintage Datejusts are associated with the Jubilee bracelet, the bi-metal Oyster gives this example a sportier, more distinctive appearance.
The beautiful slate grey dial provides the perfect contrast against the warm gold detailing, while inside sits Rolex’s highly regarded automatic Calibre 1570.
Presented with its original Rolex box and both swing tags, this is a wonderfully complete vintage Datejust with serious collector appeal.
For us, the grey dial and two-tone Oyster bracelet is a winning combination. But would you choose Oyster or Jubilee?
£3,195 - Over 50 years old, and still effortlessly stylish. ⌚
This 1972 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 1550 is a beautiful example of the understated elegance that makes vintage Rolex so special.
Its classic 34mm gold-plated case features a smooth domed bezel, perfectly complementing the stunning platinum pearl-coloured dial. A combination that gives this watch a particularly refined vintage aesthetic.
Powered by the legendary automatic Calibre 1570, renowned for its reliability and mechanical pedigree, this is a Rolex that offers far more than just good looks.
Finished on a premium brown leather strap with Rolex buckle, this example is made even more special by its provenance, accompanied by both original Rolex boxes and swing tags.
A beautifully preserved piece of Rolex history, over half a century old.
Would you choose this over a modern Oyster Perpetual?

£2,995 - One of the coolest dial configurations you'll find on a vintage Rolex. 👀
This 1984 Rolex Oyster Perpetual is defined by its highly desirable white Buckley dial, featuring distinctive painted Roman numerals against a crisp white background.
It’s a combination that gives the watch considerably more character than a conventional Oyster Perpetual dial, while retaining the clean proportions and understated styling that make vintage Rolex so wearable.
Finished on a premium brown leather strap and presented with a Rolex box, the warm leather against the white dial creates a beautifully balanced vintage aesthetic.
A distinctive, elegant Rolex with a dial that collectors immediately recognise.
Would you choose a Buckley dial over a traditional stick-marker Rolex?

Three icons. Three very different interpretations of the luxury sports watch. Which one are you choosing? 👀
First, the vintage Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ref. 4100SA — unmistakable Gérald Genta design, beautifully proportioned and finished in two-tone steel and gold. A distinctive piece of Royal Oak history and a watch with serious vintage character.
Next, the Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 — arguably one of the great neo-vintage Rolex tool watches. Built for serious diving, with its 40mm case, helium escape valve and wonderfully purposeful design, the 16600 represents an era when Rolex professional watches were still unapologetically functional.
And finally, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116500LN — a modern icon. The classic Daytona silhouette, ceramic Cerachrom bezel and one of the most recognisable chronograph designs in modern watchmaking.
Vintage AP, neo-vintage Sea-Dweller or modern Daytona?
Three very different watches. We’re taking the 4100SA for sheer character — but which gets your vote?
