watch over me today nana you know I get silly drunk to block out the pain. 9 years down & a lifetime to go.. the tears fall heavier today as I remeber the last time holding your hand kissing your head painting your nails for transition, we had the record player on all night with our favourite songs. You said you never forget the day I was brought into this world & I promised I’d never forget the day I watched you leave.. I remember carrying you and my legs almost collapsing at the church door, the last shovel of soil I laid above you & the single red rose I placed ontop of that. You are my rock, my best friend my life partner 21 years the best 21 years of my life spent with you. I’d do anything for a hug just a squeeze I miss that so much 🥰 words are never enough, I could talk about you all day everyday and still not get bored or run out of words.
