Each week I’ll send you a simple check-in form via WhatsApp for you to complete and return, along with your skin photos. I’ll personally review your check-in and guide you on what to focus on for the following week.

Those that know me know I’ve always been the person who says “yes.”

Yes to squeezing in appointments.
Yes to working late.
Yes to evenings and weekends.
Yes to trying to fit everyone in.

Somewhere along the way, while looking after everyone else, I forgot to look after myself.

Running a business isn’t just the hours you see. It’s the messages, admin, responsibility, worry & pressure of trying to make everyone happy. Alongside that, I’ve been navigating what I believe are the challenges of menopause, anxiety, low moods, and feeling like I’ve slowly lost a little bit of myself.

At home, life doesn’t stop. We have three amazing children between us. Our dog has ongoing health problems, we’ve supported family through health battles, and through it all my amazing husband has carried so much of the load.

Losing my dad to Alzheimer’s at just 68 changed my perspective forever. It made me realise how precious time really is. I still have my mum, and I want to be present with her and my mother-in-law while I can.

The biggest realisation of all is my son is now 13. It feels like I blinked, and those years disappeared while I was working. Success means nothing if you don’t have the time or energy to enjoy the people you love.

So I’ve made a decision.

I’m reducing my hours and protecting my evenings & weekends so I can be more present, make memories, and start looking after myself again.

I want to be present at family dinners.
I want to enjoy evenings at home.
I want to make memories at weekends.
I want to laugh more.
I want to get my spark back.

This means I won’t be offering the same flexibility I’ve always given. If appointments need rearranging, I’ll always do my best to help within my working hours, but I won’t be extending my days or giving up family time anymore. Not because I care any less, but because I’ve realised that to give my clients the very best of me, I first need to look after myself.
