I find it really difficult sometimes to put into words what I actually do 😂

So when Sheena offered to talk about her experience of 1-1 coaching with me, I thought... maybe I'll just let her tell you herself ❤️

Sheena came into my office, we sat down and simply chatted.

No script. No rehearsing. Just a really open and honest conversation about where she was when we first met, the journey she's been on and, most importantly, where she is now.

I'm going to share our wee chat in a few short parts over the next while.

Autumn at the Duck Pond

Like so much of what I create through It's A Duck, this has come from a very personal place.

When I was on my own journey of finding my way back to myself figuring out who I was, what I wanted and where I fitted amongst all the other roles in my life I would have loved something like this.

Just time to focus on me.

To have honest conversations, laugh, reflect, learn and start figuring out what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like.

So... I decided to create it. 😉

Autumn at the Duck Pond is a six-session small-group coaching experience for women who feel ready to make some time for themselves again.

We'll spend six Saturday mornings together exploring where you are now, what you need, what might be holding you back and, most importantly, where you want to go next.

And because it's The Duck Pond, there'll be plenty of conversation, laughter, beautiful surroundings and probably a few surprises along the way. 🦆

Well... this feels a little surreal. ❤️

A while back I was invited to join the wonderful Lauren Chiren -Owner Women of a Certain Stage onto their podcast to talk about my own experience of perimenopause and the journey that eventually led me to become a Menopause Coach and create It's A Duck!

We talked about the brain fog, panic attacks, anxiety, exhaustion, losing confidence, and that horrible feeling of not recognising yourself anymore.

For a long time I genuinely thought I was losing myself.

What I didn't realise was that many of the struggles I was experiencing were linked to perimenopause.
