This looks like 👄 filler migration. However, what really happened here was due to:

1. Inappropriate technique, especially given the patient’s particular lip anatomy
2. Inappropriate filler, especially considering the placement/ technique used.
3. Over- filling. This was 5 years of multiple appointments of lip filler from another clinic.

All of these issues are causing the area above the upper lip to appear heavy. The filler and subsequent swelling of this area is actually masking her true lip shape and causing it to project over the lower lip.

Respecting the patient’s natural lip anatomy is important, especially when only a little enhancement is needed 💉✨
