What a joy to see Maycroft featured in The Simple Things magazine.

This has long been my favourite magazine. I subscribe every month and still feel genuinely excited when it arrives through the post. Its celebration of slow living, creativity, nature and life’s quieter pleasures feels so closely connected to everything we hope to create here at Maycroft.

This beautiful feature captures a retreat I held earlier this year - a weekend of flower crowns, nourishing food, meditation, time in the Wild Spa and space simply to pause and reconnect. Seeing those moments shared across these pages feels incredibly special, and we’re so grateful to have been included.

Next year, we’ll be creating another very special Maycroft retreat, inspired by that same beautiful blend of creativity, nature, rest and deeply nurturing wellness.

There’s something about this time of year that makes you want to slow down.

Cooler mornings, golden trees, cosy evenings by the fire and a little more time spent wrapped up in the things that make you feel good.

Autumn at Maycroft is made for exactly that.

A Christmas gathering with a difference.

Forget the busy hotel function room. This Christmas, Maycroft is exclusively yours.

Created for small workplaces and close-knit teams, Gather & Glow is an evening of good food, festive drinks, music and dancing — all in your own beautifully decorated, heated tipi.

Arrive from 5pm, gather around the table for a delicious plant-based festive charcuterie and pudding from Planted by Cali, bring your favourite bottles, choose your own music and enjoy the evening your way.

Then, when the dancing is done, wander back to the pods for a cosy night’s sleep.

The following morning, enjoy breakfast before a private Wild Spa Reset — sauna, cool plunges, hot tub and a beautiful GAIA salt scrub ritual.

A relaxed noon departure means there’s no rushing home. Just a lovely night together and a little time to reset.
