August was a month of family, growth, beauty education and some very special moments. 🤍

I started the month with family time before heading back to busy days with clients and students at Diva Beauty Academy in Scotland.

One of the biggest moments was completing our first Advance Academy for Nail Technicians — three months of developing nail skills, confidence and beauty business knowledge.

August also brought more nail training in Scotland, including Gel Extensions training with Dannie as she continued building her skills step by step.

And there was another moment I’ll never forget — seeing my clients sitting in the Academy reading my story in The Courier. 🥹

Then Lily joined our family. 🐾

I finished the month in Kraków, where this time I became the student and continued developing my own skills with photography training.

Because being a Beauty Educator doesn’t mean you stop learning.

I teach nail and beauty professionals, but I also want to keep developing, learning and becoming better at what I do.

For me, building a successful beauty business isn’t about working every hour possible.

It’s about creating something that gives you space for your career, your growth, your family and your life.

That’s what August looked like for me. 🤍

And I think I’m entering this year of my life a little differently.

I don’t need more just for the sake of having more.

I want more time.
More freedom.
More moments with the people I love.
More work that I actually enjoy.
And more courage to keep changing the things that no longer fit my life.

I’m proud of everything I’ve built so far, but I’m even more excited about what’s still ahead.

No big speech today.

Just grateful for another year, everything it taught me and the life I’m still creating. 🤍

The product isn’t always the first decision you should make.

One of the things I teach my students is to stop for a moment before automatically reaching for the product they always use.

Look at the nail first.

What condition is it in?
How flexible is it?
How does it grow?
What length does the client want?
What does her lifestyle look like?
Has she had problems with her nails before?

Because two clients can ask for exactly the same service and still need a different approach.

And this is where I think many nail techs get stuck.

We learn the steps.
We repeat them.
And when something doesn’t work, we start wondering what went wrong.

But sometimes the answer is simply that this nail needed a different decision.

That’s why I want my students to understand what they’re looking at — not just remember what comes next.

The more you understand, the easier it becomes to make your own decisions with confidence.

Next time you start a set, look at the nail before you look at the product.

Kiedyś myślałam, że rozwój biznesu oznacza jedno — więcej.

Więcej klientek.
Więcej godzin.
Więcej pracy.

Sama przechodziłam przez różne etapy. Pracowałam mobilnie, później z domu, otworzyłam własny salon, a z czasem świadomie go zamknęłam i przeniosłam biznes bliżej domu.

Nie dlatego, że coś nie wyszło.

Po prostu z czasem zrozumiałam, że nie chcę dopasowywać całego swojego życia do biznesu.

I chyba właśnie tego nauczyło mnie te kilka lat prowadzenia własnej firmy.

Czasami rozwój nie oznacza robienia więcej.

Czasami oznacza zatrzymanie się i zadanie sobie pytania:

Czy biznes, który dzisiaj prowadzę, nadal pasuje do życia, które chcę mieć?

Bo dla mnie sukces dzisiaj wygląda inaczej.

Biznes ma pasować do życia.
A nie życie do biznesu. 🤍
