So we thought we’d start taking you behind the scenes of our pro kit.

These are just a few of the products we added to the Luxe kit throughout July. In reality, there were plenty more, but unfortunately Instagram only gives us 10 slides, so we’ve picked a handful of our fave new additions to share.

Every product is carefully researched, thoroughly tested and chosen because we believe it deserves a place in our pro kit.

Our kit is constantly evolving as new products are released and formulas improve. We’re always investing in the best, so our brides and clients have products we know and trust.

We know makeup is expensive, and buying products online can feel risky. That’s why we spend hundreds of pounds 😅researching, comparing and testing products, so you don’t have to.

Makeup and hair finished, bouquet in hand. After months, often years, of planning, your wedding day is finally here.

The feeling we always want for our brides is not just loving your makeup, but feeling relaxed, confident and able to enjoy every minute of the morning.

One thing that’s often overlooked when planning a wedding is how important it is for your suppliers to work well together.

Your hair stylist, makeup artist, photographer and videographer should all be working as one team to keep your morning calm, relaxed and running to time.

We always make sure we’re on schedule and allow plenty of time for your photographer to capture all of those beautiful getting ready moments. We’ve heard photographers say that one of their biggest challenges can be hair and makeup overrunning, leaving very little time for bridal portraits before the ceremony. Just know that’s never us, because we know just how important those memories are.

As for the photos and videos we share, these are always taken with your permission and on a case by case basis. We can never guarantee them because they’ll only ever be captured if we can do so discreetly, without getting in the way of your photographer or videographer and without affecting the running of your morning. We absolutely love creating these little keepsakes for you, but your wedding day will of course always come first.

We absolutely love seeing our brides through someone else’s lens once the gallery arrives. It’s always so special to look back at the morning, see all the moments we missed, and of course see our makeup looking its best.

Do you know what’s surprised me most this wedding season?

The number of brides and bridesmaids telling us they’ve never had their makeup professionally done before.

Those appointments end up being some of our favourites.

Watching somebody look in the mirror for the first time, hearing them say, “I actually love it,” and seeing that little smile appear never gets old.

It’s never just about the makeup.
It’s about having that time where you can switch off, be looked after, feel pampered and walk away feeling like the very best version of yourself.

Seeing your confidence grow in such a short space of time is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. 🤍

If you’ve never had your makeup professionally done before, I promise you’re not the only one. In fact, it’s becoming far more common than you might think.

Our 2027 diary is filling quickly, and we’re already welcoming lots of our 2028 brides too. If you’d love us to be part of your wedding morning, we’d always recommend booking your suppliers as early as you can to avoid missing out.

🚨 Sir Harry Smith Prom 2027 bookings are now OPEN! 🚨

This is your fair warning… these appointments won’t stick around for long.

The prom date has been announced much earlier than usual this year, and we’ve already had bookings come in before we’ve even had chance to post!

Every year our Sir Harry prom diary fills incredibly quickly, and with only so many hours in the day, once we’re full, we’re full. We work on a first come, first served basis, so if you’d like to book, don’t leave it too long.

Appointments are available on Friday 2nd July 2027, with slots on the hour throughout the day.

Because it’s so far in advance, these appointments can’t be booked online. Just send us a message and we’ll get everything sorted for you.

A £20 deposit secures your booking.

We already can’t wait to see you all and create another year of gorgeous prom glam. ✨
