I spent years thinking the answer was another diet.

My weight went up and down, I tried different plans, lost weight, gained some back… and started again.

What finally changed wasn’t finding the perfect diet. It was learning how to eat in a way I could actually maintain, moving because I love how it makes me feel, listening to my body, and understanding that one meal, one celebration or one rest day doesn’t undo your progress.

I still enjoy bread. I go out. I celebrate. I rest. And I look after my body — without feeling like I’m constantly “on a diet.”

Nearly 20 years later, that’s probably the biggest lesson I’ve learned:
