And with today being International MPN Awareness Day, it felt like the right time to share a little more about me.

I’M A MAKE-UP ARTIST 💄

Make-up has always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve been a in the industry now for over 25 years 👵🏻

I love making people feel confident, whether that’s for a big occasion, like your wedding or simply because you fancy feeling a little bit fabulous.

I’M A MUM & A WIFE 🤍

My husband Craig is my favourite person. He is just the kindest, most loving man and I feel lucky every day that we found each other.
He’s also super talented and sings with Only Men Aloud 🎶

MY FAMILY IS MY WORLD 🌍

Life can be a bit chaotic, occasionally exhausting and very rarely quiet… but I wouldn’t have it any other way 💗

We’re lucky enough to have a holiday home in Pembrokeshire, which has become our little haven.

Somewhere to slow down, breathe, eat good food, explore, and spend time together.

I also live with a chronic blood cancer called Essential Thrombocythaemia or ET for short.

In simple terms, my bone marrow produces too many platelets — the blood cells that help our blood clot. Having too many platelets can increase the risk of blood clots, which is why ET needs to be monitored and managed.

There can also be symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, dizziness or other issues — although everyone’s experience is different.

As with everyone, there are good days, difficult days and everything in between.
