I know it was disappointing for the client but honestly im not here to just take your money!!
I recommended a plan to get her hair in the BEST condition for the next few months and then retest, so its not a hard NO, just a no for now.
And me saying I needed the 5 hours rather than the 4 I originally had booked... this was because the client booked the appointment before having a consultation but because I have an amazing team we would have made it work.
This is why we always say to come in for a consultation before booking anything, it gives us the chance to make sure you are booked in for the right service, the right timings and we can give you a more accurate price quotation.

Autumn colours is definitely in my top 5 of favourite things to do in the salon!
The majority of Brits are warm skin toned so actually need some warmth to their hair too. Its mainly about colour placement and how light or dark you need to be, especially around the face as our summer tans start to fade.
Although im still not ready to say goodbye to the summer im here for the autumn colours coming my way!

We all have our own ways of doing things but all of us have been trained the same way, we have just evolved it massively!

(Actually just reminded me, last Saturday one client actually had all 4 of us so something to their hair, we know you loved the pampering from all of us 😆)

Over the past few years how we colour hair has definitely changed!
Gone are the days when the majority of clients want bold colours, stripes of blonde and want their roots touched up once a month!
2026 is all about soft dimension, colours that flatter your natural skin tone and techniques that blend away those 'natural, colourless sparkles '
Here is a prime example of what we are seeing and doing more of in the salon. Flattering tones that seamlessly blend, blending the grey ... its still there just much less noticeable.
Hair and scalp health is the most important goal, and a colour that helps this is also a big green flag!
