We’re organising the summer holidays ,we’re working ,we’re walking the dogs ,we’re feeding the family we’re doing it all

I’ve been the first to ignore that I go and I go and I keep going…

Not any more..

But what I didn’t used to do was acknowledge that I was feeling tired or burnt out whereas now I do start to feel it and I’m like nope I need a day off I need time out I need to just lie on my bed with a fan on or giggle with a friend whatever it is something that just recharges your batteries

Had the most wonderful Wednesday evening at a womens gathering organised by the brilliant Rhiannon Duffin | Creative Branding + Marketing wildandgathered swapping stories and experiences with strangers who didnt feel like strangers for long

As a mum of four boys with grandsons brothers and nephews too

It’s safe to say I’m usually surrounded by male energy so stepping into a space full of women was so far outside my comfort zone

Im so glad I did it

Huge thanks to Vusi madsmal caka for the gorgeous food and drinks that kept us all fed and flowing all evening

Growth doesnt always look big sometimes its just showing up somewhere new and letting yourself enjoy it✨

So many instruments so little time

Yesterday I spent the day adding to my skills with the lovely Diane

This lady is passionate about her sound healing especially her gongs

I loved every moment

From the sound bath she gave us to learning the history

Lying on the grass watching the red kite circle above us at lunch

The knowledge and passion shines through
