A lovely day today braiding for Blue Sky Fostering Family Day in Basingstoke!

I was busy with a queue that never got any smaller from start to finish and was so grateful that I could make so many little ones smile 😊

I think I got to around 50 heads in total, they weren’t my usual attention to detail but they got the job done and made everyone happy so that’s a job well done in my books.

Faux Dreadlocks

I love how my technique for installation had adapted over time whilst my clients hair has got longer and longer.

I used to lock all of her hair it tightly packed at the root, now she has enough length that we can do a lock at the roots, then cross cross the length down and end with another lock.

I think it actually adds to the effect of them. Always satisfying to install. Never gets old!

Festival season will soon be upon us, if you’re planning any events or holidays I suggest booking in as much advance as you can to save risk of any disappointment! I always try to say yes to everyone but I always have a limit to my availability as I work full time in addition to running MaesBraidz.
