🍂 Sometimes the best thing we can do is start fresh…

Another lovely client decided today to have a complete removal of her existing builder gel and start again with a fresh set.

For me, this is an important part of looking after your nails. Once everything was removed, I could properly check her natural nail health underneath — and just look at them. 💗 Pink, healthy natural nails with no issues at all.

Then it was time for her fresh builder application. She chose her usual subtle sparkle, but we added a tiny autumn twist with a gorgeous little leaf on her thumb. 🍁✨

Builder gel isn’t just about having pretty nails. For many of my clients, it’s about growing their own natural nails, adding strength and helping protect nails that constantly split, chip or break.

My lovely regular client came in today and we decided it was time to completely soak off her builder gel and start again with a fresh set.

I recommend doing this when we begin to see a little more lifting than usual. It also gives me the perfect opportunity to have a proper look at the natural nails underneath and make sure they’re looking healthy before we continue.

I genuinely love what I do. I love helping with your nail concerns and watching your natural nails change, but I also love the little relationships that come with it.

Sometimes we have a good old catch-up and a laugh. Sometimes our chats get a little deeper — from both sides! And sometimes you just need some peace and quiet, and that’s absolutely fine too. There is never any pressure to talk.

I feel very lucky that, now in my 50s, I’ve found something I genuinely love doing and that so many lovely people have walked through my cabin door and become my regular clients.

Naturally Pretty isn’t a busy salon or a conveyor belt of appointments. It’s just me, you, a quiet little cabin and some time that’s yours. 🌿

✨ From paper-thin nails to the start of a healthy nail journey…

Today was this lovely client’s first visit to Naturally Pretty. 🤍

After previously wearing acrylics, her natural nails had been left very thin and fragile, and she was ready to start looking after them and encouraging some healthy natural growth.

Busy salons can also make her feel anxious, so she chose my little one-to-one cabin where it’s quiet, private and there’s absolutely no pressure. Just one client at a time, at your own pace.

Today we started her nail growth journey with her first builder gel manicure, adding strength and protection to those short natural nails. She chose fresh white tips to finish the look — proof that short nails can still look beautifully finished. 🤍✨

Now we grow. 🌿 I can’t wait to see the difference over her next few appointments.
