Extremely dark tanning results are often associated with products such as tanning injections or nasal tanning sprays. These products are not licensed for cosmetic tanning use in the UK, and their long-term safety has not been established.

A professional tanning salon should always be honest about what can realistically be achieved through responsible UV tanning. Great colour can absolutely be achieved over time, but there are limits to what a sunbed alone can do.
