About Beauty has a spacious treatment room within a Victorian home near Prestwick beach. It is on the ground floor with only 2 steps to enter the property. There is a toilet adjacent to the treatment room so easily accessible. The treatment room has a heated bed, flickering candles and fresh fluffy towels. It is sanitised, ventilated and re heated for your comfort using the stove fire after every client. The beauty and holistic therapist, Mhairi Summers (CIBTAC ITEC) is fully qualified, has over 30 years experience and takes pride in ensuring you truly enjoy every visit to her salon. Monu skin care is used for face, body and spa treatments and can also be purchased in the salon. Monu products are 100% natural, cruelty free and vegan friendly. You can also purchase Summers By The Beach jewellery while in the salon and receive a 10% discount. It is a range of personalised and seaside themed jewellery and w**e glass charms. The MONU Hydra Lift Collagen Facial has been designed to reduce the signs of ageing using freeze dried collagen. This intensive collagen treatment will improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture.
After just one treatment, the skin’s ability to hold moisture up to 75%.
After 6 treatments, wrinkle depth can be reduced by up to 40%.
For best results this facial should be had once a week for six weeks then once a month for maintenance.
Treatment lasts 1 hour and costs £65.

It is the perfect facial for teenagers or those with blocked pores and prone to breakouts.
This revitalising MONU facial combines thorough but gentle facial cleansing, exfoliation to smooth and clear the skin of dead skin cells.

This brightening, hydrating facial is enriched with collagen and Vitamin C to leave your skin smooth, plump, tightened and radiant.
It begins with thorough cleansing of the skin, followed by deep exfoliation and a warm lemon hot towel compress.
This is followed by the application of a specialist MONU Ampoule with concentrated collagen serum to plump and smooth fine lines.
The Vitamin C sheet mask with lemon extract & vitavole is then carefully applied, activated and left to take effect with it’s anti inflammatory and anti oxidant properties, while you relax and enjoy a relaxing shoulder and scalp massage.
