Every day is a school day as a Soft Tissue Therapist! 😊

Here's a little glimpse of what I got up to on my Advanced Clinical Myofascial Release course in Brighton last month. (I know the shorts and vest top are definitely not my usual work wear, but with temperatures above 30°C, they were the cool and comfortable choice!)

Here's one of our brilliant tutors guiding me through a myofascial technique that works with the fascia around the adductor (groin) muscles to support pelvic alignment and freer movement.

One of the things I love most about this profession is that there's always something new to learn. Continuing Professional Development is a key part of being a Soft Tissue Therapist and a requirement of membership with our professional associations. It means I regularly update my skills and knowledge, ensuring I can continue to offer the highest standard of care using current, evidence-informed practice.

I'm looking forward to bringing more of these new techniques into the treatment room to help even more clients ease, restore and rediscover movement.

Some Friday fun!

I see it on you and I know you see it on me based on friendly 'watch mark' observations.

It's not just the runners - I know it is also the Referees in our house and anyone else who works or trains outside!

Wear those tan lines with pride - my aim has always been to offer a safe, non-judgemental space in my treatment room. My Garmin line is currently coming along beautifully😊
